Hustlers Trailer

The pawn shop is the last resort for most broke people; the place where the impoverished and the desperate sell off their most prized valuables in exchange for an obscenely disproportionate amount of money. In 'Hustlers', it's where three dramatic stories begin; first, a pair of newlyweds find themselves in the shop where, as fate would have it, the groom finds the ring of his first wife who has been missing for some time. While he decides to seek out her kidnapper, a pair of small time criminals are concocting a plan to rob their meth dealer - though their armed robbery plan is inhibited when one of them pawns his shotgun. Meanwhile, one serious-minded Elvis Presley impersonator wishes to pawn his alleged gold Elvis memorabilia as he moves into the town hoping to land a new job in a fairground.

Paul Walker's Brothers Brought In By Universal To Complete Late Actor's "Fast & Furious 7" Scenes

Paul Walker

The team behind Fast & Furious 7 has come up with a untraditional solution to finish shooting the late Paul Walker’s scenes. Production has employed Walker’s two brothers as body doubles in order to complete the actor’s last movie. When Walker died suddenly back in November of 2013, the production took a hiatus and producers had several meetings to figure out how to proceed with the film. Eventually, it was decided that filming would continue as planned, without any major re-writes. Several body doubles would be covered to complete walker’s remaining scenes. The actors would resemble him in build and get a full CGI transformation into his character, Brian O’Connor.

Universal announced the news on Facebook Tuesday (April 15), writing, "The Fast & Furious saga is about family. The characters are connected by the bond of family, and it is how all of us who have worked together for more than thirteen years feel about each other."

Kim Kardashian Taylor Swift Beyonce Knowles Paul Walker One Direction

It must seem to poor Kim Kardashian like she can’t get anything right! Kardashian has come under fire for donating only 10% of the profits which she rakes in from clothing auctions on auction website eBay to charity. RadarOnline have managed to get their hands on the tax documents from Kim’s November auction, for which she raised money for Life Change Community Church in California. The documents state that Kim donated $19,975 to charity, a pretty meagre sum in the grand scheme of things, considering the mum of one is worth an estimated $40 million.

Universal have enlisted the help of Lin to hopefully propel the Bourne series to similar heights enjoyed by F&F.

Nolan and Abigail are hoping to welcome their unborn baby daughter into the world in just a few weeks, but things take a terrifying turn when the child is born five weeks prematurely. Abigail is rushed to hospital just as New Orleans becomes embroiled in a menacing looking storm that gets gradually worse as the hours go by. As Hurricane Katrina causes the nearby levee to break, the streets are flooded and the entire hospital is forced to be evacuated. However, that means that some people cannot be moved from the building if their survival relies solely on non-portable machines and so Nolan insists on staying in the unit where his fragile baby daughter is hooked up to a ventilator. Soon, though, the emergency battery begins to die down and with no-one around to change it and a severe power cut underway, he is forced to find a generator and do everything within his power to save his child - even if that means risking his own life.

What Is It About Fast & Furious Six That Makes Us See It Again And Again?

Dwayne Johnson Vin Diesel Paul Walker Ludacris Tyrese Gibson Jordana Brewster

Throughout the surprisingly long life of Fast & Furious, we’ve come to think of the franchise as something of a joke. Macho men and beautiful women revving up engines and performing absurd stunts, with barely a thread of plot to hold the whole thing together. And yet, not only is Fast & Furious still around, but the sixth installment in the series is geared up to take the weekend box office charts by a landslide. The film grossed over $38 million domestically on Friday and is projected to cash in at $120 million by the end of the holiday weekend (according to USA Today) and it miraculously earned the approval of 75% of critics and 95% of fans on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. Pardon us while we stop and wonder: how on earth did this happen?

Well, there’s obviously the very enticing presence of both Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel – both of whom look like your stereotypical tough guys, but turn out to be surprisingly relatable and have really good comedic pacing. Then there are of course the members of the supporting cast – Paul Walker, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and Jordana Brewster – who’s clever and well-timed quips make this highly watchable. Then there are, of course, the machines, the explosions, your typical action flick fodder, which this franchise takes very seriously. But all that just makes for an entertaining, easily forgettable movie, perhaps one sequel. What Fast did and what’s helped the franchise not only live on, but become bigger and better, with the sixth installment being the best yet, where normally a franchise would be on its last leg, was to stop taking itself seriously. Somewhere around Fast Five the producers realized the ridiculousness of the whole premise and, instead of trying to disguise it, decided to just go for the full monty (we presume that’s how it was mentioned in meetings.)

Fast And Furious 6 Is Released Today, And It Might Be The Best One Yet!

Vin Diesel Paul Walker Dwayne Johnson Ludacris

Fast and Furious 6 gets it's U.S. release today and whilst many are scratching their heads at how the franchise ever managed to get to six films, critics and audiences alike are in agreement with each other that the big wigs behind the franchise have left the best film until last (Though there's probably going to be a seventh).

With original stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker joined by the likes of franchise regulars DWAYNE 'THE ROCK' JOHNSON and Ludacris (as Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges), the latest release is still very much a Fast & Furious film, but don't let that put you off just yet. With all the usual motoring chaos and carnage to expect, only this time round with a little added spice, the film is everything you could from a F&F movie, with added va-va-voom.

Vehicle 19 Review

Good

Paul Walker remains behind the steering wheel, but this action thriller has a whiff of the arthouse about it, simply by being set in South Africa. The plot is as preposterous as Taken, which it resembles in many ways. But there is some guilty pleasure to be had in the way events unfurl for this particular American abroad. And the big climax is satisfyingly ridiculous.

It opens at the Johannesburg airport, where the recently paroled Michael (Walker) arrives on the way to visit his ex Angelica (Haidarian). But the rental agency gives him the wrong car, and when he gets stuck in a traffic jam he starts exploring it, discovering first a phone, then a gun and then a bound-and-gagged women behind the back seat. She turns out to be Rachel (McLean), a kidnapped lawyer caught between dirty cops and even dirtier politicians. And as everyone begins to chase Michael around the city, he gets deeper and deeper into the mess.

Michael is on edge from the beginning, exhausted after the gruelling flight and distracted by thoughts of Angelica. And we soon learn that he has broken parole to leave America, risking everything for this reunion with her. The script reveals its secrets along the way, although the main thing we realise is that writer-director Dewil is doing whatever he wants, sending Michael on a nightmarish odyssey that's more than a little contrived. And Walker is fine in the role of a rather uncomplicated guy who knows how to deal with these kinds of shady situations.

Michael Woods is eager to get his life back on track; leave behind his criminal past and reunite with his estranged girlfriend to patch up a tempestuous relationship. He breaks parole in order to go and see her but, due to a mix up with a car rental company, he is landed with a minivan rather than what he asked for: a rather more practical Sedan. However, he decides he'll go with it anyway unaware of the shock that would lie in store. When he discovers a phone with a new text message in the front of the vehicle, he is drawn to a silenced handgun obviously meant for someone else. Not only that, but when he pulls back the back seat, he finds a gagged and bound female hostage who informs him that was going to be killed for her inside knowledge of the corrupt local police. The pair embark on a perilous cat and mouse chase hotly pursued by the feds who he needs avoid anyway for his own reasons.

Paul Walker & Jordana Brewster - Fast & Furious 6 Video Interview

Video Interview with Paul Walker & Jordana Brewster

Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster are interviewed in London about the latest addition to the 'Fast' franchise 'Fast & Furious 6'. They talk about their feelings on the numerous reprisals of the movie, the extravagant scale of the film and on and offscreen friendships.

On making a new sequel, Paul admits his first thoughts were, 'Really? It was a long time ago we made the first one, you really think they want us still doing this?' 'To me it's just mindblowing, and now all this talk about announcing another one before this one's even been released, that's bold as all hell', he continues. Jordana comments on just how big they've made the movie this time. 'There's a tank that literally flies out of a truck that then pummels over cars', she says. 'Someone just thought up what could be the most fun thing to shoot and then made it happen which is pretty crazy.' Paul says he has a 'healthy' competitive relationship with co-star Vin Diesel. 'I get frustrated at times and I want to tell him to go kick rocks and he'll laugh at me. and we'll have our. make-up session', he says. 'What we've got going on in real life is parallel to onscreen.'

Dom, Brian and Mia may be living it up with $100 million dollars in their back pockets, but living the fast life hasn't been entirely beneficial as a hole in the lives has been left by the fact that they cannot return home after the trouble they got in with the law. When DSS agent Luke Hobbs approaches Dom to ask for his help nabbing a gang of highly-trained drivers who are leaving a trail of destruction everywhere they go, Dom is less than tempted by the offer. However, when Hobbs shows him a week old photograph of Dom's former love Letty who he thought was dead, he takes on the job with his friends, determined to find out the truth even if it's the last thing he wants to hear. In return for the capture of this gang of road miscreants, the trio are offered a full pardon for their own crimes. However, with the stakes this high, survival becomes the most sought after prize for their latest challenge.

Dominic, Brian and Mia maybe $100 million richer following their daring heist at the expense of crime lord Hernan Reyes in Rio de Janeiro, but their lives have been left somewhat ruptured by the fact that they cannot return home despite DSS agent Luke Hobbs letting them go after they saved his life. However, they are given a chance to be pardoned in full when Hobbs enlists them and their team to help him take down a group of deadly mercenary drivers with their own formidable street racing skills. Things aren't as simple as that though, especially when Dom discovers that his former love Letty who he believed to be dead makes a return as the brutal and self-serving assistant of the criminal kingpin behind the organisation. Will the Fast and Furious team succeed in the dangerous mission with their lives and their chance to go home hanging in the balance?

Following the events of the Fast franchise's fifth instalment 'Fast Five', our favourite street racers are back with the upcoming 'Fast & Furious 6'. With a full all-star cast return, the movie looks set to be a hit following the trailer's debut at the Super Bowl XLVII. It has been directed by Justin Lin ('Annapolis') and written by Chris Morgan ('Cellular', 'Wanted') of the last three instalments and is scheduled to be released in the UK on May 24th 2013.

Takers Review

Bad
Loud and very violent (within the limits of a PG-13 rating), this supposedly gritty thriller strains so hard to be sleek and cool that it completely forgets to create believable characters or situations.

Cops Jack and Eddie (Dillon and Hernandez) are on the trail of a fiendishly efficient band of bank robbers made up of brainy, brawny Gordon (Elba) and his well-dressed goons (Brown, Walker, Christensen and Ealy). When former gang member Ghost (Harris) is released from prison, he presents them with a "once-in-a-lifetime job". But they only have five days to prepare, which is less than they're used to. Something seems fishy, but they go ahead with the heist. And sure enough, not only are the cops closing in, but Ghost may betray them.
