McBrain and Walker are said to have split in 1999 "Rebecca is being there for her daughter, who is naturally devastated," a source said, via Showbiz Spy. "She and Paul had some good times together. She too is upset by his death." Though Meadow was brought up in Hawaii where she used to live with her mother, both moved to California recently so that Meadow could be closer to her father.

Though Rebecca became pregnant with Paul's child at age 25, Walker apparently refused to marry her, despite feeling like an "evil SOB," citing his tendency to sleep around according to The Daily Mail. Regardless, the late actor vowed "I love my daughter so much, and I love her mom too. We get along so well as a result of me playing it the way that I did."

Walker, who was known for his role as Brian O'Conner in the hit The Fast and the Furious, died after the sports car he was travelling in hit a tree and burst into flames, killing both the 40 year-old actor and the driver of the vehicle. TMZ's sources say that Walker had been due to attend a Santa Clarita charity car show to support the victims of the recent Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and that the accident happened close to the event. Reports have surfaced that Meadow would have accompanied her father at the charity event for Reach Out Worldwide on Saturday.

Watch The 'Hours' Trailer:

Autopsies have been delayed until the L.A. county coroner can abtain dental records for Walker and his companion, due to the bodies being "unidentifiable," according to the NY Daily News. Walker had been recently filming the seventh Fast and Furious movie alongside Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez. Although Walker will still appear in the movie, due on release next summer, the plotline of the movie may have to be altered to account for the missing scenes.

Walker's next movie will be Hours, a heart-racing thriller set during Hurricane Katrina in which Paul will play a father fighting to save his premature baby daughter's life. Hours will be released on the 13th December.
