Police In Britain Have Closed Their Investigation Into The Death Of Bob Geldof's Daughter Peaches After Failing To Track Down A Drug Dealer Who Supplied The Heroin That Killed Her.
The 25-year-old socialite was found dead at her home in Kent, England in April, 2014 after suffering an overdose of the deadly drug, and cops subsequently launched a probe to find out how she got hold of the heroin.
However, 15 months later the investigation has been shut down after detectives "exhausted all lines of inquiry".
Detective Superintendent Paul Fotheringham, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, says "Our investigation into the supply of drugs to Peaches Geldof-Cohen has exhausted all lines of inquiry and has now concluded. If further information or witnesses come forward we will review the case, but I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Peaches' family who have supported our inquiries during what has been a difficult time."
