Peggy Sue's new single, 'Song & Dance' will be released through Wichita Recordings; it is the firsts single to be taken from their second album 'Acrobats', which was released on September 12th, 2011.
The video for Song & Dance was directed by Barney Batchelor. Shot in a darkened room, Peggy Sue play their infectious song while a number of cheerful looking girls perform a simple dance routine in front of them.
Peggy Sue is a three piece band based in Brighton. Rosa (guitar, vocals), Katy (guitar, vocals) and Olly (drums) - who make up the band - originally named their band Peggy Sue and the Pirates when they formed in 2005, before shortening it in 2008. They have already made a name for themselves by touring with famous acts such as Mumford and Sons, Kate Nash and The Maccabees, as well as performing at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona.
Their album Acrobats was produced by John Parish, well known for his work with Eels, Sparklehorse, Giant Sand and the twice Mercury Award winning singer PJ Harvey.
