Perrie Edwards thanks her ''lucky stars'' for her Little Mix bandmates.

The 22-year-old singer was dumped by her long-term fiancé Zayn Malik last month but has credited her Little Mix bandmates for pulling her through the difficult few weeks, saying she's loving her promotional tour across the US despite her recent heartbreak.

She said: ''Do you know what? I'm good. I'm having an absolute blast in America, things are going so well, and I just wake up every day and I thank my lucky stars I have these three girls.''

But while the 'Black Magic' singer is enjoying success around the world, her ex has been facing a backlash from DJ Calvin Harris after he criticised his girlfriend Taylor Swift on Twitter.

The 22-year-old ex-One Direction star published a meme contrasting the 'Bad Blood' hitmaker's desire for all musicians to be financially rewarded for their hard work with a quote from Miley Cyrus reading: ''I've made my money. If no one buys my albums, cool.''

An angry Calvin retorted: ''You've made your money? Cool...f**k the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah f**k em (sic).''

However, a heated exchange continued between the pair with Calvin insisting he was angry at the quote and not Zayn, to which he slammed the star.

He tweeted: ''you clearly didn't understand what I just said either

''so i suggest you calm your knickers before them dentures fall out (sic)''

Not being provoked, Calvin replied: ''best of luck, genuinely. You've got a great voice (sic)''

Zayn then tweeted a public message, ranting: ''Oh and I write my own s**t too d***head (sic)''
