After readmitting himself into rehab on a Thai retreat, Pete Doherty looks to be willing to reclaim some sense of productivity once he returns.
Despite pulling out of his scheduled T in the Park performance at Kinross, Scotland to be at the rehab clinic, his former Libertines band mate Carl Barat has revealed the two will be heading into the studio to record on Barat's new solo album once he returns.
In a move that will delight Libertines fans, Barat hinted at the reunion during an appearance on XFM, stating that the two had spoken before Pete headed off to rehab and that "When he gets back hopefully we'll be on the same page and we'll take it from there."
Carl went on to tell of how he has already started work on the solo LP and said he is waiting on Pete to lend him hand once he gets back from rehab in Thailand.
After a successful reunion in 2010, Barat has also hinted at possibly taking another stab at going on the road with The Libertines again, dropping clues on his Twitter account that another reunion may be on the cards. Rumour had it that after the last reunion Pete and Carl had yet another falling out, making another reunion all but impossible. Yet if these hints are anything to go by then we may be expecting another return from the London rockers.
