‘Doctor Who’ fans might not have seen the last of Jenna Coleman’s Clara Oswald, according The Doctor himself Peter Capaldi. Speaking at Awesome Con in Washington on Monday (June 7) the actor might have let slip a little too much when it comes to Clara’s future on the show.

“I’m not sure how successfully Clara was able to wipe his mind,” Capaldi told the crowd while sitting with Coleman, according to the Radio Times. “I just… I was about to tell you something I can’t tell you.” But that wasn’t all Capaldi had to say.

The actor then revealed, “I just shot something that Clara was still there in.” Clara’s exit came during the series nine finale ‘Hell Bent’, when after previously cheating death, she left earth in a stolen TARDIS with Ashildr, having wiped the Doctor’s memories of her.

When asked what she thought Clara might be up to now, Coleman said: “I think that she is probably broken down. Her and Ashildr haven’t yet worked out the mechanics of the TARDIS and are trying to get somewhere but can’t quite work it yet.”

In April theatre actress Pearl Mackie was unveiled as Bill, the Doctor’s new companion, who is set to debut in series 10 next year. Mackie has described the character of Bill as ‘cool, strong, sharp, a little bit vulnerable with a bit of geekiness thrown in.’
