Pharrell Williams is inspired by Marc Jacobs.

The producer - who has his own clothing labels Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Club - says he wishes he could be as "imaginative" as the Louis Vuitton designer.

He said: "Every Comme des Garçons show is just perfection and Alber Elbaz is a genius, too. So is Marc Jacobs. I am so inspired by each one of them. They are totally imaginative. I wish to be that way one day."

It was previously revealed that Pharrell is set to work with Jay-Z's fashion house Rocawear to create a new range.

The news was confirmed by Jay-Z on his twitter page, following a report by GQ magazine which claimed Rocawear had bought the licensing to manufacture and distribute Billionaire Boys Club.

Jay-Z tweeted: "Partnering with @4real4rell on BBC' follow him.. (Not 'buying' as GQ erroneously reported.) (sic)"

Rocawear was created in 1999 by Damon Dash and Jay-Z and now boasts annual sales of around $700million, while Billionaire Boys Club was established in 2005 by Williams and Nig, founder of Japanese clothing company BAPE.
