Pharrell now has three new reasons to be ‘happy’.
The intensely private couple have been keeping their exciting news quiet, but speaking to Vanity Fair a rep confirmed that the bundles of joy arrived earlier this month.
Pharrell Williams and wife Helen Lasichanh have announced they welcomed triplets earlier this month
The couple’s rep declined to specify the gender or names of the new arrivals, but did reveal to the magazine that mother and babies are all ‘healthy' and happy’ following the births.
News of Helen’s pregnancy was confirmed in September, after she attended the N°5 L’EAU party for Chanel in West Hollywood sporting a visible baby bump. The couple are already parents to eight-year-old son Rocket, who they welcomed in 2008.
Explaining the meaning behind his son’s unusual name to Oprah Winfrey in 2014, Pharrell said: “In the same way the Indians named their children after a force or animal or element, we named him after a man-made machine that was meant to go up, meant to ascend.”
Pharrell and Helen dated for years, before finally tying the knot in October 2013. The super stylish couple both bucked tradition and wore plaid designs for their wedding, which took place onboard a yacht in Miami.
‘The Voice’ coach has previously described his wife as his bestie. “It’s awesome,” he told ‘Today’s’ Savannah Guthrie about their relationship. “The bestie thing is awesome. Every night is like a sleepover.”
