Phil Spector is releasing an album from behind bars - a project he worked on with his wife RACHELLE SHORT is set to go on sale in June (10).
The embattled music mogul produced a disc of tracks for his wife, a former Playboy model, prior to his sentencing last June (09), when he was convicted for the 2003 murder of actress Lana Clarkson at his Alhambra, California home.
She tells the New York Daily News' Rush & Molloy column, "I do lead vocals. My husband is so proud of me and I'm so proud of him for withstanding what he's withstanding."
The as-yet-untitled album is due for release on 8 June (10).
