Piers Morgan has reignited his feud with Madonna after calling her Super Bowl performance 'gruesome.'

Madonna recently performed at the half time show at Super Bowl XLVI along with M.I.A and Nicki Minaj and while many have applauded her performance, Morgan was not a fan.

He appeared on E! chat show Chelsea Lately on February 6th, where host Chelsea Handler referenced Morgan's dislike of the Gimme All Your Luvin singer. She sarcastically remarked: 'I know you're a huge fan.' In response, Morgan had this to say: 'That Super Bowl performance, it was like watching your mad drunken aunt at Christmas. Is it just me? I keep reading all these celebrities tweeting, saying, 'Wasn't she awesome?' No, she wasn't. She was gruesome.' Adding fuel to the fire, he added: 'I don't like the woman and she doesn't like me, but at least I've found I have got one common ground with Madonna. Neither of us have sung live at the Super Bowl.'

It isn't the first time the British TV personality has publicly criticised Madonna. Speaking at the CNN's Television Critics Association Winter 2011 Session, days before the premiere of his talk show Piers Morgan tonight, he announced that Madonna was banned from appearing on the show, claiming that she was 'boring and annoying'. Morgan has revealed that there are 'a few things' that sparked the feud but has remained vague on the details.

Madonna has yet to comment on the latest in the on-going feud but as of today (7th February 2012) she has just announced her world tour, which will start in May 2012 and see her perform in the Middle East; the UK and Europe and the US, with South American and Australian dates to be announced.
