This year aims to bring every sound possible to your ears.
The 2016 line-up for Primavera Sound in Barcelona has finally been announced, with the likes of Radiohead, Suede and Brian Wilson heading up the event this summer. It's the sixteenth edition of the festival, and is bringing a broader range of musical talent than ever before.
Radiohead will be bringing a taste of their yet to be released upcoming album to not only Primavera, but also a string of shows later in the year in their first tour since 2012. They'll be joined by LCD Soundsystem making their big comeback with James Murphy, Brian Wilson performing the whole of 'Pet Sounds' and, of course, Suede who will be performing not one but two shows no doubt showcasing their latest album 'Night Thoughts', which is due to be released tomorrow (January 22nd 2016).

More in the way of musical legends, PJ Harvey will be rocking it up at the Parc del Fòrum this June, alongside horror and sci-fi composer John Carpenter in one of his first ever live performances and re-united 90s rockers Drive Like Jehu. Tame Impala return for another set at the thrilling Spanish extravaganza, and Alex Turner and Miles Kane bring their collective The Last Shadow Puppets to the city too. More top names are French duo Air, dreamy Baltimore pair Beach House, their alt-pop neighbours Animal Collective, Texan rockers Explosions In The Sky, Zach Condon's expanded project Beirut, Massachusetts trio Dinosaur Jr., British singer-songwriter Richard Hawley and Atlanta indie band Deerhunter.

Mixing things up a bit we have the critically-acclaimed experimental musician Julia Holter from LA, as well as post-punk all-female four-piece Savages, who are making a return to the festival while coincidentally sharing the bill with Sigur Rós with whom they share a manager. Daughter will fly over from New York after releasing an awesome album, 'Not To Disappear', earlier in January, while Neon Indian will bring his brand of chillwave to stage alongside Floating Points who's doing the entirety of 'Elaenia' live.

As usual, Primavera will kick off with a free inaugural day featuring Suede, though a neighbourhood-wide initiative called Primavera al Raval will begin on May 30th bringing more live shows to surrounding areas.
Primavera will take place from June 1st to 5th 2016; tickets will be priced at 175 euros until February, after which the price will begin to rise.
