Kate Middleton

A Royal Family: Regal congratulations are in order this week with news that the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is pregnant with her and Prince William's first child. With new succession laws set to be passed, the baby will grow up to become the King or Queen, but can you guess the name?

That's His Style: Love is most certainly in the air this Christmas, with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles appearing to fall for country sensation Taylor Swift. Forget the groupies; the singer was seen holding hands with the 'Red' singer during a romantic stroll in Central Park.

Whole Lotta Love: President Barack Obama paid tribute to legendary rockers Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center Honors at a reception in the White House this week. David Letterman and Dustin Hoffman were among others recognised for their contribution to American culture through the arts.

The Mac Are Back: Good news for Fleetwood Mac fans, with the band announcing a world tour for 2013. Stevie Nicks and company will be back on-stage and may even play the Glastonbury Festival. Fingers crossed.

Who Killed Roger This Time? Similarly great news for fans of Robert Zemeckis' classic Disney movie Who Killed Roger Rabbit? this week. The director says he has a sequel script ready to go and would like to release the film in 3-D. But wait, didn't Bob Hoskins just retire from acting?

Lady Gaga

Don't Stop Til You Got Enough: That was certainly the mantra that Lady GaGa took into a Michael Jackson auction in Los Angeles this week, walking away with 55 pieces of memorabilia once belonging to the late pop superstar. Amongst the lots won by Gaga was Jackson's famous gloves as well as his iconic 'Bad' jacket.

James Bond Skyfall

Skyfall Soars: We're pretty sure studio bosses will be getting on their hands and knees to beg Sam Mendes to helm the next James Bond movie after Skyfall was officially recognised as the biggest box-office grossing UK movie of all time. Daniel Craig's latest outing as 007 pulled in £94.3m in just 40 days.

Kramer Is Back! Seinfeld fans were jumping for joy this week with news that Michael Richards has been cast in a new sitcom for TV Land, starring Kirstie Alley. Any new project featuring the Seinfeld cast is met with delight, though fans will be extra-excited for Richards' return. He famously played the "hipster doofus" who lived across the hall from Jerry.

Video of the Week: This week's hottest footage comes from Broadway, where Katie Holmes is seen arriving for her performance of Dead Accounts at the Music Box Theatre.
