The feud began during Arthur’s time on the ‘X Factor’ in 2012.
The pair’s bad blood began when Arthur was appearing on the talent show and fans compared him to the rapper, causing Green to tweet: “You can all f*** off and die slowly – he does not look like me.”

The rapper won’t be talking about his future romances either.
Professor Green has said he will be keeping a “dignified silence” about his divorce from Millie Mackintosh. Appearing on ‘Loose Women’, Green said he’ll be staying quiet on details about the split, because it wasn't a “celebrity relationship”.
Professor Green is keeping a “dignified silence” over his divorce from Millie Mackintosh.
"The best approach with any matter that personal is a dignified silence," Green told the ‘Loose Women’ panel. "Especially when there's another party involved.” Green married the ‘Made in Chelsea’ star in 2013, but the couple announced they were divorcing back in February.
The couple announced their separation earlier this year and things don’t seem to be as amicable as they first appeared.
Rapper Professor Green has hinted that his recent break-up with ex Millie Mackintosh will serve as inspiration for his new album. The rapper married the ‘Made In Chelsea’ star in 2013, after a whirlwind romance, but earlier this year they announced their separation.
Professor Green says ex Millie Mackintosh won’t like his new lyrics.
Speaking to The Sun, Green was asked if ex-wife Millie would be unhappy with his new lyrics. “I think that can be assumed,” he said. “But I’m not worried about that. People assume they know me and they know the box I fit into but I grew up rapping a totally different way.”
Six years after he was stabbed in the neck during an argument in a club, Professor Green had a disturbing flashback of his previous trauma as a stranger armed with a sharp object interrupted a project he was working on.
Rap star Professor Green has revealed that a knife-wielding man interrupted filming on a project he’s working on in Gloucestershire this week.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday (April 7th), the English rapper, real name Stephen Manderson, said that a man “waving a blade about” disrupted filming near Cheltenham. It comes almost exactly six years after he himself was the victim of a savage knife attack in an East London club.
The 32 year old explained that somebody who was poking his nose about and making noise on the set of a project he’s filming (music video or documentary not known) eventually ambled away, only to return with what appear to be a sharp object.

The rapper and the ‘Made In Chelsea’ star married in September 2013.
Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh have confirmed they are to divorce, after two years of marriage. The couple's marriage had been rumoured to be facing difficulties in recent months, with Green revealing last month that he’d only seen his wife once so far in 2016.
Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh have announced their separation.
In a joint statement the couple said: ‘It is with sadness and regret that we confirm our separation. It is a mutual decision, we still care deeply about each other and would like it to be known it is on amicable terms and we wish each other well.’

The Prof got into some legal trouble this week.
Stephen Manderson, better known by his stage name Professor Green, was arrested last Monday on suspicion of preventing justice, according to the Mirror. The arrest dates back to an incident back in the beginning of November, when the musician called police to report that he had been mugged and had his Rolex stolen outside his £1 million London home.
Professor Green was arrested for the second time earlier this week.
It isn’t exactly clear what transpired at the time, however according to the report, the officers noticed that his Mercedes had been in a crash, after which the I Need You Tonight star was held on suspicion of drunk driving. This latest arrest could carry much heavier consequences. This could be a serious problem for Manderson, since the maximum penalty for preventing justice is a year in jail.

Not an ideal night out for Mr. Green.
Oh dear. You get mugged, your Rolex gets swiped, so you phone the police, who subsequently arrest YOU. Alright, the Rolex bit isn’t a universal problem, but it’s a pretty bad sequence of events, we’re sure you’ll agree.

That’s what happened to Professor Green. The rapper – real name Stephen Manderson – phoned the cops after he was mugged outside his own house. The robber(s) made off with his Rolex watch, but when police arrived, it was Green in the back of a squad car.

The TV talkshow host threw a Halloween party to remember: see if you can guess who is behind each costume.
Our American friends across the pond sure know how to pull off a great Halloween party: immaculate outfits, perfect props, and glittering venues, but when British television host Jonathan Ross decided to host a counterpart bash in London this year...well, let's just say it was a different story.
One Irish Comedian Rocked Up As The Pope...
We've been washed with viral images of American celebrities this week, whether it's Paris Hilton as Miley Cyrus, Matt Lauer as Pamela Anderson or Heidi Klum as an older version of herself; all of them looked picture perfect and ready to par-tay. Ross hosted his party last night and we watched as guests shuffled into his London home via a weed-strewn footpath, trying to escape the chilly wind and drizzle this time of year brings.
The rapper and the reality TV star married at the opulent Babington House.
Professor Green and Millie Mackintosh have tied the knot at an elegant garden wedding in the popular celebrity location of Somerset's Babington House. The Prof., AKA Stephen Manderson, only revealed his wedding date on the Friday before the ceremony, tweeting Thank you all for your kind wishes, as you may have read I'm marrying the love of my life tomorrow so I'm off for a little while, big love x."
The bride and groom looked picture perfect as they wandered through Babington's lush gardens, the floral theme echoed throughout their outfits with a neat bouquet for Millie and a simple flower lapel for the Prof. The four bridesmaids looked chic in simple peach gowns and were similarly adorned with large floral headbands and a blooming bouquet each.

A Week In Reviews... This week saw 14-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys head to the UK for a series of dates, and boy did it seem that the girl really was on fire. A storming appraisal from us here at Contactmusic, for her show in Manchester proved that Keys hasn't lost her spark over 16 years in the game."If one thing's for certain tonight it's that Alicia Keys is the perfect crossover star, with an old school approach to music and a new school approach to showmanship; the girl really is on fire" we reckoned.
Meanwhile, across the Pennines in Leeds, Mercury-nominated Ghostpoet was in town to perform plenty of new material. However, there was plenty to take in for both fans old and new, with Contactmusic's Joe Wild writing "Whilst the show was unquestionably a vehicle to promote his new material, the MC did sprinkle some Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam favourites into the set-list, such as 'Liiines' and 'Cash and Carry Me Home' to keep the faithful fans happy. But it was the renditions of newbies 'Dial Tones,' 'MSI MusmiD' and new single 'Meltdown' that really got the crowd amped and responding to his metaphor-laden lyrics and urban-decay-inspired beats."
The singer barely escaped with his life in the crash, but fortunately only suffered a broken leg.
Professor Green was taken to hospital on Friday (May 24) night after being hit by two cars whilst walking to a gig in Gloucester. The rapper has suffered a suspected broken leg following the incident, in which he was caught between two colliding Mercedes, however his injuries could have been much worse, as the star revealed on his Twitter last night and earlier today (May 25).
"I really didn't realise the severity when I was on the gas, was being a moron and doing nothing but making jokes, not anymore!" wrote the new face of Relentless drinks, following up a previous Tweet in which he wrote "If I'd have fallen when the car hit me I'd be dead."
The newly engaged - to Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh - singer kept his fans updated on his condition on Twitter and apologised to his fans at Hartpury College in Gloucester, where he was due to perform, for missing the gig. At first, the rapper's updates were chirpy and a little optimistic, however as the hours drew on (and the laughing gas wore off) his Tweet began to get much more serious as the severity of his injuries sunk in. His Tweets this morning were much more unforgiving.

The rapper is obviously far too invested in his music to handle anything else at the moment.
Professor Green was about due for a new album and lo and behold, it’s coming later this year. The collaboration with Zane and Pure Love is set to come out sometime in the fall and the Prof talked extensively about it in an interview for ITN. In it he explained all about the process of making an album and experimenting with anything and everything. He also explained how the whole thing was made that much more complicated by the presence of cameras in the studio.
“It’s like sex,” he said. “For the most part, you enjoy it, but you don’t want anyone watching you while you do it.”
He also had some insights to share about crow-funding the project and about his full-time commitment to it: “It’s good that people are willing to fund our careers with projects like this because it’s proof music matters to them too,” the rapper/singer observed. “Not just as musicians, but as people, we all go by the no half measures philosophy, without a doubt.”

Disgruntled HMV employees took over the company's official Twitter page on Thursday (January 31, 2013) airing their dissatisfaction at being sacked by the music chain, which called in the administrators two weeks ago. 4,500 jobs are thought to be at risk at the ailing retailer, leaving angry employees taking to the micro-blogging site to vent their frustration this week.
Tweeting "live from HR," the employees managed around seven messages before the company regained control in the afternoon. The tweets - since deleted but reproduced on The Guardian's website - included, "There are over 60 of us being fired at once! Mass execution, of loyal employees who love the brand. #hmvXFactorFiring." Another said, "Sorry we've been quiet for so long," went another. "Under contract, we've been unable to say a word, or - more importantly - tell the truth." Management became suspicious around 2.30pm, with another tweeting, "Just overheard our Marketing Director (he's staying, folks) ask 'How do I shut down Twitter?" The angry employees managed more tweet before their posts were removed. It said, "Under usual circumstances, we'd never dare do such a thing as this. However, when the company you dearly love is being ruined . and those hard working individuals, who wanted to make hmv great again, have mostly been fired, there seemed no other choice." As of 4.30pm, the latest tweet read, "With our #hmvBlueCross Sale underway, who took advantage of the 25% off 1000s of products? What did you pick up?"
On January 22, 2013, it was reported that Hilco - a restructuring company essentially preying on ailing companies - would take control of HMV.
Rapper Professor Green is being investigated over an alleged hit and run involving a pensioner. Albert Stanford, 67, told police that Green reversed a Mercedes into his Vauxhall Vectra, causing £800 worth of damage, according to The Sun.
Stanford says he was unable to get the hip-hop star’s insurance details, though was certain it was Green - real name Stephen Manderson, whose nan lives nearby in Woodford Green, North East London. “It made a loud smash…But by the time I got my dressing gown on and went down, they had driven off,” he said. Stanford rang Professor’s Green’s nan, then the singer himself phoned though they were unable to sort out the collision. The singer said his loan car was undamaged — something confirmed by Mercedes-Benz — adding: “The matter is being looked into.” A Met Police spokesman said: “This is being treated as a fail-to-stop collision.”
Professor Green, who is currently dating Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh, slammed someone for a similar hit and run incident last month, telling Twitter followers, “Big up who ever crashed into my car while it was parked and sped off. My neighbour got your details b***h!”
Professor Green has been accused of being involved in a hit and run incident, with the London rapper believed to have rammed into the back of a pensioner's car before driving off.
According to The Sun, Pro. Green, real name Stephen Manderson, was involved in a collision with a 67 year-old's Vauxhall Vectra, causing £800 worth of damage to the car before driving off in his offending Mercedes Benz, which was a loan car. Albert Stanford - the Vauxhall's owner - is accusing the star of causing the damage and he told the paper, "It made a loud smash. But by the time I got my dressing gown on and went down, they had driven off.”
Stanford claims that the chart-topping rapper urban artist did eventually call him, but rather than exchange insurance details they got involved in a rather heated argument instead, which Stanford says was started when the rapper refused to hand over his details. Mercedes have since confirmed that the rental car being used by Green at the time had been returned undamaged, although they did mention that the incident "is being looked into.”
