Global phenomenon Psy was in London this week to discuss world-recognised hit 'Gangnam Style' whilst also picking up his plaque from Guinness World Records as he officially became recognised as having the 'Most Liked' video on Youtube.

The Korean star wipe aside competition from Justin Bieber who’s debut song 'Baby' comes in at third with a total of 1,327,147 likes, with LMFAO’s 'Party Rock Anthem' closely following with 1,574,963 likes. However 'Gangnam Style' blew his closest rivals out of the water with a massive 4,911,081 likes recorded on the video sharing website.

Psy was speaking to BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills on his show when the award was at last delivered to honour the song that has been listened to over 680 million time worldwide and has made Psy and his infectious song a household name. This is by no means the first record that Psy has broken though, having become the first Korean to top the iTunes chart with his hit song.

The singer said on air of his award "I'm honoured, this is the first certificate I've ever had… I didn't get one at school."

The Korean-pop sensation will appear at Sunday's (Nov 11) MTV European Music Awards to perform his mega-hit, which is being held in Frankfurt with host Heidi Klum.
