So we pretty much all assumed Psy would disappear without trace, many of us even hoped he would. But he hasn't. Quite the opposite in fact. The South-Korean rapper's follow-up to Gangnam Style has already broken the record for the most views in a single day after it was watched 20 million times in its first 24 hours. The video for 'Gentleman' has since gone on to rack up a huge 87 million views, meaning it's tracking to topple the 1.5 billion achieved by Psy's breakout hit.

Surprise, surprise - 'Gentleman' once again furthers Psy's reputation for catchy dance moves. He's seen pulling off a woman's bikini, removing a chair from underneath another and forcing his weird moves on a girl studying in a library. He even adjusts the speed setting on a treadmill to ensure a runner goes flying off the end. This is certainly not gentlemanly Psy. We are disappointed in you.

The song basically sounds exactly the same as Gangnam Style, which we can't exactly blame him for. It's also number eight in the UK iTunes chart and will no doubt reach the top spot at some point. As the YouTube hits racked up, Psy tweeted his surprise, writing, "51million views in 40hours!! My God!!!"

Psy's debut album is due out later this year. It will sell millions and there is nothing we can do about it.
