R Kelly’s hip-hopera ‘Trapped In The Closet’ will be given the Rocky Horror Picture Show treatment when it is made into a sing-a-long version at later this month.

The cult music video series’ first 22 episodes will be made into one, nearly two-hours long movie complete with subtitled lyrics for fans to enjoy when it is released as a sing-a-long feature on November 22.

The new version of the epic series masterminded by Kelly will be shown at Chicago's Music Box Theatre and will feature on-screen subtitles and plot-related props for the audience to use for their own enjoyment. Action Pack, the company who in the past have held similar occasions for such fan favourites as Grease, are conjuring up the cinematic treat.

In 2008, Kelly, the star/director/producer/writer of the project, made a personal appearance when the same theatre premiered the most recent nine chapters of the film, however he wont be present for this screening.

In October this year, R Kelly revealed the news he had filmed a further 20 more chapters of ‘Trapped,’ with the Independent Film Channel releasing a sneak peak at chapter 23 shortly after.  The new instalments of the series will be released later this year.
