Raekwon Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Pt II Album

Raekwon is back! Anyone who knows about the Wu Tang Clan defo knows Raekwon. Indeed 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx' was a hip hop classic. This was solo Wu at it's best and would you believe we have another, this time Part II, with all the Wu members flexing and showing the greatest skills Wu can always deliver.

So is it as good as the first album? I think it would be highly unlikely we could get another like the first and Raekwon's album since this have never been as good. That's not saying Part II is bad, far from it. The conscious, intelligent and graphic imagery is still there is full effect. The delivery straight from the cooker whipping up the best skills going. You can't turn off the talent it's just maybe because the flow and integrity was so good and ahead of its time you might not feel your learning as much as before however I'm not complaining about getting another slice from the Chef. There's some great moments like 'Black Mozart' with some dope lyrics from RZA and 'Mean Streets' remind you there's only one Wu.

It's great to hear the Wu are still cooking up some good stuff and Chef probably has the best oven going these days. Maybe that's the problem as when you've got so much cheddar you're never gonna' go hungry and the hunger always created the desire to get the cream. Yet you can't deny the skills. Once you've learnt to cook you've always got something to offer and this offering could easily digest well with the many of the gems on the hip hop table. There's no denying the Wu.
