Actress Rashida Jones has teamed up with her famous dad Quincy Jones for a new prostate cancer awareness campaign ahead of Father's Day next month (Jun13).

The father and daughter appear in a new campaign for Stand Up to Cancer and America's Prostate Cancer Foundation (Pcf), in which the Parks and Recreation star is seen with her arms wrapped around the music legend.

Rashida says in a statement, "We have to protect the men we cherish, so please talk to your fathers, your grandfathers, husbands, brothers and sons and make sure they speak to their doctors about this disease and how to reduce their risk."

Quincy adds, "As a father, I cherish the special moments in life and understand how they can fly by in an instant. Prostate cancer has affected dear friends and family of mine, so I am honoured to be part of this campaign with Stand Up To Cancer and the Prostate Cancer Foundation to reinforce how incredibly important it is for men to talk to their doctors about prostate cancer."

The advertising campaign will kick off in full next month (Jun13).
