Rebel Wilson ''couldn't believe'' it when Brad Pitt recognised her.

The 'Pitch Perfect 2' actress admits she hugged the 51-year-old actor, who has six children, Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with wife Angelina Jolie, for ''a really long extended time'' after he told her they were huge fans of the original film.

The Australian star said: ''I was sitting next to Brad Pitt and he's like, 'Uh, I've seen your movie like 20 times. My kids love it.' And he said, 'Angelina watches it as well.'

''I couldn't even believe he was talking to me, let alone seen me do comedy.''

But the 29-year-old comedienne thinks she scared the heartthrob by embracing him for too long in a bid to show her appreciation, but insists she has no regrets.

She told 'Live with Kelly and Michael': ''I just kind of hugged him and for a really long extended time, to the point where he's kind of moving back. When do you get that opportunity?''

Meanwhile, Rebel admits she loves being surrounded by handsome men in Hollywood.

She told the 'Today' show: ''The best thing is the megahunks. Zac Efron -- hi, Zac! -- Channing Tatum, James Franco ... I've made a lot of new friends.''
