Reese Witherspoon

Walk The Line: arrested?! That was our first thought upon hearing the news this week. The amiable Louisiana native and all-round darling of Hollywood was cuffed by cops after getting rowdy over her husband Jim Toth's arrest. Oh, and she pulled out the "do you know who I am?" line. Cringe.

New Hair Alert: Jennifer Lawrence sort of stole the show at the GLAAD Media Awards this week, despite the appearance of former President of the United States, Bill Clinton. Debuting a shorter, darker hairstyle, Lawrence sent the social media world into overdrive. What do you think of the change?

Me and My Monkey: So Justin Bieber still hasn't acknowledged the fact that his monkey Mally is stranded in Germany, after the 19-year-old failed to provide paperwork for him last month. It's likely the little fella will end up at a rescue centre should Bieber continue to  ignore the problem.

Dwayne Johnson

The Rock is Broken:  aka The Rock failed to attend the Pain & Gain premiere in Los Angeles this week after requiring emergency surgery. The wrestler suffered severe injuries following his Wrestlemania bout with John Cena, which he lost. Double loss.

The Jackson 12: Six men and six women have been selected to sit on the jury for the upcoming court case between Michael Jackson's mother Katherine and live events company AEG concerning the alleged wrongful death of the pop superstar. Katherine and Michael's children are seeking $40 billion in damages. That's $40 BILLION.

MacFarlane? Seriously? Well, somehow Seth Macfarlane has bagged himself the Oscars job for next year, despite a poorly received debut turn in January. It probably has something to do with the same producers returning for the 2014 show, and MacFarlane is yet to accept. He famously said he'd never do it again - will he go back on his word?

Gywneth Paltrow

Most Beautiful: People magazine's Most Beautiful Person in the World award has been snagged by  for 2013. It's not particularly surprising, given she's got a multi-million dollar blockbuster ready for release, though we're not gonna argue with the result. Congrats Gwyneth!

Remember Rachet and Clank? One of the most defining games of the Playstation 2 era, Ratchet and Clank, is at least being brought to the big screen. From the look of the teaser trailer, it appears the animators have stuck to the style used in the game. Is this a good thing? We still remember Final Fantasy: The Sprits Within.

Dodging Balls, Again: In other movie news this week, Ben Stiller has successfully talked someone out there into making Dodgeball 2. Stiller and Vince Vaughn are back for the second instalment, though are audiences still hungry for a sequel, so long after the original hit the big screen? We'll soon find out.

Video of the Week: This week's hottest footage comes from New York, where Matthew McConaughey was signing autographs for fans ahead of his appearance at the Apple Store to discuss new movie 'Mud,' for which he is gaining stunning reviews.
