British Airways bosses have insisted a cameo appearance by rival Virgin Atlantic chairman Richard Branson in James Bond film Casino Royale is cut from their in-flight version of the movie.
Branson landed the part as an extra in an airport scene after helping producers with a logistical problem on-set. But the cameo and the Virgin Atlantic logo on a plane in the movie won't appear in BA's entertainment package.
Virgin Atlantic spokesman Paul Charles admits he's upset with the decision to cut Branson out of the film on BA flights, reminding his firm's mile-high rivals that Virgin made no changes to Bond film Die Another Day, which featured British Airways.
