Hollywood veteran Richard Dreyfuss is heading back to the theatre - he is set to star in an off-Broadway production of IMAGINING HESCHEL.
The Jaws actor will take the role of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel in the Colin Greer play, which centres around conversations between Heschel and Cardinal Augustin Bea as the Vatican Council went through the process of exonerating Jews in the 1960s and early 1970s.
Dreyfuss will be joined by Rinde Eckert, who plays Bea in the production, which is set to launch at New York's Cherry Lane Theater next month (Nov10).
