One-time Aussie pop hunk Rick Springfield is recovering from surgery to repair his rotator cuff following a recent motorcycle accident.
The Jessie's Girl hitmaker appeared on U.S. daytime chat show The Talk on Tuesday (25Jan11) sporting an arm sling, and explained he has been forced to take a break from music to recover after crashing his bike.
He said, "It's a rotator cuff accident, a motorcycle accident, so that's why I can't play or anything. It hurts so much, it's so painful."
