This week, Rihanna did what all multi-millionaire pop stars do after ending a relationship and partied hard with her equally famous pop star friend. The Diamonds singer split from Chris Brown recently but instead of weeping into a pot of ice-cream chose to dust herself down and party in Brooklyn with Katy Perry!

A source told Us Weekly that the best buddies met up at Rihanna's concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Tuesday. Perry, who recently split from John Mayer, attended the show with Raising Hope actress Shannon Woodward, though met up with Rihanna afterwards. "They hung out like old times and were catching up," an onlooker revealed.

The hangout came just one day after Rihanna's relationship with Brown came to end. He was spotted parting with friends at the Standard Hotel's Met Gala after-party on Monday. One insider said he was "putting on a big show, dancing and screaming," and that he seemed especially "into the message" of Gotye's hit song Somebody That I Used To Know. Look up the lyrics guys. The  Grammy winner recently opened up about his relationship with Rihanna during an interview with Australia's The Kyle and Jackie Show, saying, "I'm always gonna love that person.But people have differences and people have different wants and needs. And at the end of the day, she's a young girl. I can't really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young...I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be, instead of worrying about whoever else is going to be in my side pocket."
