Rihanna after attending a sex club; posing with endangered species; and accidently managing to have numerous Thai people arrested, continues her controversial world tour. The singer was asked to leave a mosque in the United Arab Emirates after posing in inappropriate positions.

Rihanna is not one to shy from controversy as these pictures from her Instagram show.

Rihanna was visiting Abu Dhabi in order to perform on Saturday (19th October). She evidently managed to squeeze in some sight-seeing as her controversial photographs were taken earlier that day.

The 25-year-old was asked to leave the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre in Abu Dhabi when she was spotted posing in the place of worship. The mosque, as reported by CNN, issued a statement which reads: "she was asked to leave before entering the actual mosque, (she was in the courtyard taking pictures) after taking some photos that did not fit within the rules and regulations set out to preserve the sacredness of the centre."

Rihanna posted the photographs on Instagram and immediately caused controversy. Some of the comments on her photographs are highly critical. Many critics are appalled at her decision to pose draped over a sacred monument, whilst others are shocked by her somewhat inappropriate captions attached to her photographs.

Rihanna wore a black trousers and a long sleeved black top, completely covering her body with only her hands and face on display. Her hair was covered by a scarf, similar to the head scarf worn by Muslim women. Her bright red lipstick, statement necklace and gold shoes completed the look.

Controversy has arisen from Rihanna's inappropriate posing and her comments. In one photograph she appears, beside a fountain with the mosque in the background, lying on her back with her arms provocatively thrown over her head. She added the caption "no tan lines." In another photograph Rihanna poses, looking over her shoulder at a group of female worshippers clad in the traditional burqa, she wrote "b*tch stole my look."
