Finally, it looks like Rihanna might actually be set to release her long-awaited eighth studio album 'Anti', as she unveils a brand new single featuring Drake. We've never had to wait so long for an album from the singer before (it's been in the making since 2014), so it better be worth waiting for.

The new single is called 'Work' and it made its public premiere over the radio today (January 27th 2016). It can also be streamed on artist-friendly subscription service Tidal. The track saw her re-unite with pal (and ex-boyfriend) Drake, who first worked with the singer on her Grammy nominated 2010 song 'What's My Name'.

Reports reveal that Rihanna and Drake have also been shooting a video for 'Work', so we can probably expect that to arrive in the coming weeks. Or not. Since we expected to be listening to 'Anti' by last year. Never fear though, Rihanna told her fans via Twitter that she was in the process of listening to the album herself, so she can't possibly keep it from us for much longer.

'Work' is the official first single to be released from 'Anti', though it follows her number one collaboration with Kanye West and Paul McCartney entitled 'FourFiveSeconds', 'B***h Better Have My Money' with its epic video, and 'American Oxygen' produced by Alex da Kid and Kanye West. She also recorded a track for her movie 'Home' during that time, but 'Towards the Sun' is not expected to make an appearance on the new album.

We've known about the album's title and even the artistic process behind the artwork for a while now. She also unveiled dates for her upcoming world tour which kicks off in San Diego on February 26th. But we're still waiting on a date for 'Anti'. At least the fact that she's listening to it in a sassy pair of gold headphones means it's nearly, if not totally, finished.

YouTube sensation Kingsley had the best comment on the news: 'OH?!!? FINALLY. I didn't know FourFiveSeconds would end up being about my PATIENCE.'

We're so with you, Kingsley.
