Riley Keough fired her dog from her wedding party.

The 25-year-old actress - the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough - and stuntman Ben Smith-Peterson were thrilled to have their family play important roles on their big day, but their beloved French bulldog Grubs was stripped of his duties after misbehaving during the rehearsal.

She said: ''All our siblings were in the wedding party. Ben's brother and my sister were both groomsmen, my brother was one of Ben's groomsmen and my sisters were flowergirls.

''Grubs ended up misbehaving during the wedding rehearsal so we had to tell him he couldn't be the ring dog anymore, sadly. He was so naughty!''

Despite planning their big day carefully together, the couple were still able to spring surprises on one another during the nuptials, which took place in Napa, California, earlier this month.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Riley said: ''Ben surprised me with a song and I surprised him with a couple of silly vows he didn't know about.

''His surprise was way better. My bridesmaid Abbey surprised me by singing 'Believe' by Cher, which was really funny. I think half the people there thought she was serious which was the funny part.''

Guests at the wedding included Kristen Stewart, Zoe Kravitz, 'Mad Max: Fury Road' stars Abbey Lee and Courtney Eaton and supermodel Cara Delevingne.
