Ora has said she began the relationship with the older man while she was a student at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London.
A new biography on singer and ‘X-Factor’ judge Rita Ora has revealed that she was groomed by a 26 year old man when she was just 14 and attending the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. Ora spoke about the relationship in a previously unpublished interview which was unearthed during the research for the new unauthorised biography on the singer.
Rita Ora has said she was in a relationship with a 26 year old man when she was 14.
In an extract from the book, published by The Sun, Ora is quoted as saying: “I was 14 when I had my first relationship with a guy. I would say he was about 26. It is child abuse really, isn't it? I don’t want to say I suffered, because I wanted it.”

At the judges’ houses the remaining groups were rebranded over ‘copyright issues’.
The six acts in Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s ‘Groups’ category on the ‘X—Factor’ have all undergone name changes during the judges’ houses round. The name changes are said to be due to ‘copyright’ issues, but it’s common practice in the groups’ category to give acts a rebranding before the live shows.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s Groups have all undergone name changes.
While a spokesperson for the show confirmed to the Express that the acts had undergone name changes, they did not comment further. The changes are said to have taken place to avoid any potential ‘copyright issues’.

The judge had made no secret of the fact he didn’t want the Overs category, but picking his final six proved harder than even he had imagined.
Simon Cowell didn't want to mentor the Overs again on the ‘X-Factor’ this year, so Sunday night’s edition of the Six Chair Challenge was particularly tough for the talent show judge. Faced with picking which six contestants he would take to the judges’ houses, Cowell was indecisive and at times ruthless, as he whittled down the remaining contestants.
Simon Cowell had a tough time during the ‘X-Factor’ six chair challenge on Sunday night.
Holly Johnson, a 27 year old estate agent was the first to get the axe, following her rendition of Pharrell’s ‘Happy’. "This is very easy - it's no,” Cowell said, leaving new judge Nick Grimshaw shocked.

The girls, who are being mentored by Rita Ora, were whittled down to six during Sunday night’s ‘X-Factor’.
‘X-Factor’ judge Rita Ora had a tough time on Sunday night’s edition of the ITV talent show. The singer, who is new to the judging panel this year, had to decide which six contestants would make it to the judge’s houses round during the show’s tense Six Chair Challenge.
Rita Ora has picked her six girls to take to the judge’s houses.
Ora has been given the Girls category to mentor this series, with Nick Grimshaw taking the Boys, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini the Groups and Simon Cowell (much to his disgust) getting the Over-25s. This year (for the first time ever) the judges’ categories were chosen by public vote.

Barker and Ora met at a celebrity-studded basketball game just over a week ago, but apparently things have moved along quickly between them.
‘X Factor’ judge Rita Ora really is dating rock musician Travis Barker, the drummer with Blink-182, according to a new report by Us Weekly.
Rumours started in September when 39 year old Barker, 15 years Ora’s senior, posted a black-and-white shot on Instagram of the pair of them at the Power 106 All-Star Game in Los Angeles. “Me and the beautiful @ritaora at @power_106 #Power106AllStars,” he wrote, before Ora shared to photo and added “Nice to see you too.”

Meghan Trainor, Jess Glynne and Mark Ronson are the other celebrity guests helping the judges select who goes through to the live rounds.
ITV has announced some pretty major names from the pop world as guests for the judges’ houses stage of ‘The X Factor’ over the next few weeks, the biggest of which is former alumnus of the show Louis Tomlinson who’ll be assisting Simon Cowell.
23 year old Tomlinson, who finished in third place on ‘The X Factor’ with One Direction back in 2010, will be helping Cowell choose which singers from the “overs” category will be going through to the live shows later in the series. Tomlinson will be replacing Cowell’s regular aide Sinitta in the chair, and ends speculation linking former judge Louis Walsh with the role.
The newcomers to the judging panel, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora, will be joined by ‘Uptown Funk!’ hitmaker Mark Ronson and American pop star Meghan Trainor respectively.

Unnamed sources close to the show have told The Sun that Walsh is poised to come back to 'The X Factor' in time for the live shows as a "fifth judge".
Louis Walsh could be in the frame to return to ‘The X Factor’ amid increasing concerns about flagging ratings. He is reported to be in talks to return to the ITV show in time for the live shows, even though he departed before the current series started.
Rumours have abounded since the start of September that Simon Cowell has been putting in ‘crisis calls’ to Walsh, the man he axed from the panel earlier this year having served on it since the show began in 2004.
A source close to the ITV production has now told The Sun on Thursday (September 24th) that Walsh may now be poised to make a spectacular return as a ‘fifth judge’ – partly to counteract the presence of Nick Grimshaw, whom viewers apparently find “boring” and has reportedly displeased bosses who believe he’s the main reason for the new series’ poor ratings so far.

The music manager has said he’d only return to the show if it was a ‘fun panel’.
After being axed from the ‘X-Factor’ after 11 years, Louis Walsh has hit out at the show’s new judging panel and in particular DJ Nick Grimshaw. But despite no longer being on the series, the 63 year old has said he still tunes into ITV every Saturday and thinks the show's ratings will improve.
Louis Walsh isn't enjoying the new ‘X-Factor’ judging panel.
“I’m not sure about Grimshaw. I haven’t seen much of him," Walsh told the Daily Star. "People don’t like change and I think they miss Dermot and maybe some people miss me. The new panel needs time to bed in.”

Why is the revamped ‘X-Factor’ just not bringing in the viewers this year?
The ‘X-Factor’ has enjoyed a slight ratings boost in its third week of series 12, with 7.55 million viewers tuning into ITV on Saturday evening. However the numbers are still significantly lower than last year's and the show is yet to go had-to-head with BBC One’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, which begins in two weeks.
Ratings for the ‘X-Factor’ have been low this series despite a new judging panel.
According to The Mirror, 7.55 million watched the show live on ITV at 8pm, and then a further 359,000 caught the episode on the ITV+1 channel. However this time last year the show was pulling in 8.43 million on ITV and a further 441,000 viewers an hour later.

The two single ‘X-Factor’ judges got close while watching the Rolling Stones at the music festival.
Nick Grimshaw has revealed that he and fellow new ‘X-Factor’ judge Rita Ora once shared a snog at Glastonbury festival while watching the Rolling Stones. The revelation came after an ‘X-Factor’ promo clip was released showing Ora confessing that she had tried to kiss the DJ at the festival but he turned her down.
Nick Grimshaw has revealed he shared a kiss with Rita Ora at Glastonbury.
Speaking on his Radio 1 Breakfast Show Grimshaw said, "We were sharing a caravan - me and Rita and a few of our friends. There was one room in there which had a double bed in it and we shared the double bed.”

She hit out at Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Lady Gaga in an excerpt of her new autobiography in Time Out.
Grace Jones has unleashed a tirade of criticism at all manner of modern pop stars, from Minaj to Miley, by describing them as “middle of the stream” and lamenting the current state of the music industry, in her new autobiography.
‘I’ll Never Write My Memoirs’ is released on September 29th, but as a taster she has published a few excerpts from the new book via Time Out. In one of them, Jones complains that a whole host of pop stars have copied her style but have no “long-term vision”, coming off as unoriginal and therefore easily replaceable.
“Trends come along and people say, ‘follow that trend’,” she writes. “There’s a lot of that around at the moment: 'Be like Sasha Fierce. Be like Miley Cyrus. Be like Rihanna. Be like Lady GaGa. Be like Rita Ora and Sia. Be like Madonna.’ I cannot be like them – except to the extent that they are already being like me.”

The ITV talent show suffered a huge drop in ratings on Saturday night and claims that girlband Fourth Power weren't amateurs.
‘The X-Factor’ returned to UK screens on ITV, Saturday night (August 29th), with a revamped judging panel which doesn't seem to have proved a hit with viewers. The talent show scored a record low rating for it’s series premiere, as well as fan backlash over a girl group who have already released records.
‘The X-Factor’ judges, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Cheryl Cole, Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw and hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs.
According to The Mirror, the revamped show only brought in 7.11m viewers, a drop of nearly two million from last year's launch show. The numbers are the lowest ever launch ratings for the show, since 2012 when 8.62m tuned in.

Ora, who joined ‘The X Factor’ judging panel earlier this year, has spent the last week wading through the official auditions for the new series of the reality show that have been going on around the country. She hasn’t liked what she’s seen from some of the female contestants, however…
“I understand the power, it’s Simon with his T-shirt and jeans and all that, I get it. But there’s a limit you have to have, a bit of decorum you need to hold,” the 24 year old admitted.

Rihanna is said to be angry at the British singer thanks to her new track ‘Body on Me’.
Another day and it seems another showbiz feud is brewing. Yes the latest stars who allegedly aren't seeing eye to eye are British singer Rita Ora and Rihanna. The two pop stars are said to not be on the best of terms following Ora’s latest single, ‘Body on Me’, which happens to feature Rihanna’s ex Chris Brown.
Has Rita made an enemy of Rihanna?
According to The Sun, Rihanna is none too happy that Ora chose her ex to record a duet with and what makes it worse is that the single’s yet to be released video is said to be pretty steamy. ‘There’s no lost love between them, but this is another example of what Rihanna perceives to be a lack of respect by Rita,’ a source told the newspaper.

Slick direction and meaty performances may be enough for some viewers, but this boxing drama's complete lack of originality keeps it from being something memorable. Centring on a committed performance from Jake Gyllenhaal, it's always watchable, but it's rather annoying that every time an interesting theme is raised the script sidesteps into yet another boxing-movie cliche.
Gyllenhaal plays Billy Hope, an orphan raised in the system who rose to become the world light heavyweight champion. He has savvy wife Maureen (Rachel McAdams) at his side, smart young daughter Leila (Oona Laurence) cheering him on and the fiercest manager (Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson) in the business. But personal failures, unexpected tragedies and financial crises suddenly bring an end to his millionaire lifestyle, leaving him alone and wandering the New York streets in search of a place to live. He seeks help from grizzled gym owner Tick (Forest Whitaker), who helps Billy rebuild himself so he can take on his nemesis (Miguel Gomez).
Billy is such a hot-head that he's not easy to like, continually blowing his top to make everything much worse for himself and his family. Gyllenhaal is an astonishing mass of muscles, scars and tattoos, with a burning inner rage that's startlingly believable. He also works hard to earn the audience's sympathies, despite the blunt superficiality of Kurt Sutter's script. Whitaker's role is even less nuanced; he's little more than the formulaic gruff trainer who's always played by an ageing Oscar winner. McAdams injects some snappy energy in her too-brief role, and it's actually Laurence who emerges as the film's most resonant character, effortlessly stealing her scenes right out from under Gyllenhaal's smashed-in nose.

Former judge on ‘The Voice’ and the newest member of the ‘X-Factor’ panel, Rita Ora, has revealed why she jumped ship from the BBC talent show to its ITV rival. But Ora’s reasoning isn't as interesting as we might have hoped. Speaking at the O2 Silver Clef Awards, Ora blamed scheduling for her decision to switch shows, saying it all had nothing to do with her former colleagues on ‘The Voice’.
Rita Ora is the ‘X-Factor’s’ newest judge.
"It's nothing to do with any of the coaches personally. I love them all. But it's definitely something to fit in with my timetable and my schedule,” Ora said, while picking up the Vevo Best Female prize at the awards on Friday.
