The 2016 Met Gala, one of the most high-profile celeb gatherings of the year, placed two supposed love rivals in the same room together – but Rita Ora and Beyonce seemed to rubbish suggestions that the former is Bey’s “Becky with the good hair” with a selfie together on Ora’s Snapchat account.

The pair attended the glamorous Manus x Machina event in New York City on Monday night (May 3rd), and posed together for a brief snap in which they were both smiling. 25 year old Rita captioned the pic ‘family’ and added a heart emoji.

The Beyhive has previously been bombarding fashion designer Rachel Roy’s Instagram with bee and lemon emojis with regard to the rumours, as well bothering the British pop star, with their speculations that one of them was the real identity of ‘Becky’ – though many others believe the character to be a composite of various people.

“I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Beyoncé. Let’s continue enjoying Lemonade,” Ora was forced to say via Twitter, though she had been having fun with the rumours via her own social media accounts last week.
