British pop star Rita Ora collapsed on the set of her photo-shoot for Madonna's Material Girl campaign on Monday (November 18, 2013).

Photos posted up on TMZ.com show the 22-year-old being carried from an ambulance to a stretcher. Ora's doctor David Farcy says the singer was treated for exhaustion and dehydration and was eventually discharged from hospital.

Mr Farcy added that the R.I.P singer is now fine and she flashed a big smile to fans when she returned to her hotel from the hospital.

Ora - who once dated Kim Kardashian's brother Rob Kardashian though is now seeing DJ Calvin Harris - was reportedly preparing for her photo shoot on Miami beach near the SoHo Beach House hotel when she fainted in her makeup trailer.

Ora confirmed she was joining forces with Madonna and her daughter Lola earlier this year, telling fans, "'It's official Ritabots - I'm the new face of Material Girl!" She replaced Georgia May Jagger as the face of the brand.

"Rita is a talented beauty but what really drew us to her is the confidence she oozes through her music and her unique sense of style," said Madonna and Lola in a joint statement, "On stage or off, in photos or on the street - she's a magnet! This is what the Material Girl brand is all about!"

Ora was thought to have been recommended by Lola, 16, who co-designs the collections with her famous mother.

Rita Ora's debut album Ora peaked at No.1 on the UK album chart and spawned the hit singles R.I.P, How We Do (Party), RadioActive and Shine Ya Light.

We here at Contactmusic.com hope Rita is feeling fighting fit again.
