Fact: Actor Rob Riggle proved he was game for a challenge on Tuesday (12Aug14), when he joined U.S. comedian Jimmy Fallon and his The Tonight Show house band The Roots to douse themselves in buckets of ice cold water - all in the name of charity. The fundraising phenomenon has taken social media by storm in recent weeks to raise money to fight Lou Gehrig's disease. Pop star Justin Timberlake performed the dare on Monday (11Aug14), and then nominated Fallon and The Roots crew to do the same, which they did within 24 hours. They also vowed to donate to the Als (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) Association to help raise awareness about the condition.
