Robbie Williams has been ordered not to jump any more.

The 39-year-old singer - who joined Take That when he was just 15 years old - admits years of performing have taken its toll on his body and he has been advised to slow down by his chiropractor.

He said: ''I'm like, 'That's pretty harsh, being told that'. So bits and bobs on my body are closing down and f**ked and worn away from abuse.''

However, the 'Candy' hitmaker - who has battled addictions to drugs and alcohol in the past - has no regrets about the way he has ''worn'' his body and wants to go ''skidding to the grave''.

He added: ''I've f**king used my body well. I actually want to go to the grave skidding. I will skid into the grave.''

Although he turns 40 in February and has even revealed he wants to have plastic surgery, Robbie doesn't think his age makes him old.

He said: ''I don't know what it means. It used to mean you were old. I just remember Uncle Bernard having white hair and a cardigan and it being over. It's not. I think people are getting younger and younger.''

Robbie wants to have liposuction in a bid to look younger after his milestone birthday on February 13.

He said: ''I'm going to have a everything done. I am going to have a facelift, the chin can go, liposuction. The mid-life crisis theory has been creeping up on me for some time.''
