Robbie Williams' career ten years ago was almost unbeatable in the UK. He'd signed a record breaking contract with EMI for £80m and almost all his albums went double platinum. Now, after a slump from 2006 until 2011, Williams has returned with a number one single 'Candy' and another number one album Take the Crown, his tenth chart topping album.

This time around though his success isn't simply his own, with a wife and baby in tow, he's more than happy to share his winnings. And it's not just his family that are benefiting, 8 lucky fans received free tickets to next year's European tour. According to Gigwise, he left his Skype ID on his website and called 8 of the fans that added him.

His first tour in six years will see him traverse Europe including three dates in the UK, in London, Glasgow and Manchester. And he'll be supported by Olly Murs. They struck up a friendship when Robbie helped Olly out while the young singer was still competing in the X Factor.

His next single 'Different' is set for release on December 17th. If it's anything like the success of the first single from the album and the album itself, Robbie is, again, onto some major success.

This is 'Different':
