Sherlock Holmes co-stars Robert Downey, JR. and Jude Law have been tipped to take on the lead roles in an upcoming remake of Some Like It Hot.
The actors have starred together in two films based on the adventures of Arthur Conan Doyle's super-sleuth and they have now been linked to the roles made famous by Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon in a new version of the 1959 classic.
Hollywood bosses are reportedly set to remake the movie, which also starred Marilyn Monroe, and the actors are favourites to don drag to play a pair of musicians who dress up as women to join an all-female band, according to Britain's Sunday Express.
Lemmon was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Jerry/Geraldine in the original film, which was nominated for a total of six Academy Awards. The film won just one for Best Costume.
