Queen Of The Desert Trailer

Gertrude Bell was a formidably intelligent British woman from the late 19th century whose travels through expansive deserts in the Middle East helped establish modern society in countries such as Iraq and Jordan, and importantly cast an enormous amount of respect on women everywhere. She didn't care for behaving like British society expected women to behave, and she proved that she could be just as skilled in the likes of cartography, archeology and politics and refused to be treated any differently than her male peers. Even when she was threatened and accused of being a spy, she never backed down and her resilience and care towards Arabic peoples have left their mark in history.

Charlie Hunnam's Odd On Set Relationship With Robert Pattinson

Charlie Hunnam Robert Pattinson

Having recently completed filming on 'The Lost City Of Z' with co-stars Sienna Miller, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland, Charlie Hunnam has opened up about the way he and his fellow actors worked on the movie's set. Though his relationship with Miller seems the standard type of kinship actors share when they're working together, his time with Pattinson (and to some extent, Holland) was a little stranger.

He said: "I had a couple of rehearsal sessions with Sienna, but I didn't spend any time with Tom or Robert. I wanted these relationships to evolve naturally on screen. Through the work, I don't think I said more than ten words to Robert [Pattinson] off camera.

The Lost City Of Z Review

Good

Based on a true story, it's the historical aspect of these events that holds the attention, even though the filmmakers kind of let the drama slip through their fingers. It's an impressively designed film, with vivid characters and some rather amazing situations. But the script's structure is too fragmented to build the story's momentum.

It opens in 1906 London, where Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam) is assigned to accompany a geographical expedition to the jungles on the border of Bolivia and Brazil. While there accompanied by the intrepid Costin (Robert Pattinson), he discovers signs of a massive ancient city, which he names Z, the ultimate human achievement. Back in England, he reacquaints himself with his fiercely independent wife Nina (Sienna Miller) and plans a return trip with Costin and wealthy benefactor Murray (Angus Macfadyen) to find this lost pre-European civilisation. But Murray causes so many problems that they return empty-handed. The outbreak of the Great War delays Percy from going back to South America, so he heads off to the front to fight. Later, he organises a final expedition to find Z, accompanied by his now-adult son Jack (Tom Holland).

The screenplay has simplified Percy's attempts to find Z (he actually travelled to Brazil around 10 times). But the three trips depicted here begin to feel oddly repetitive, broken up by scenes of impatient domesticity in Britain. All of these sequences are sharply well shot and played, but the overall impact is lessened by all of the travelling back and forth. And many of the long sequences back in Europe feel like asides to the main story of Percy's all-consuming obsession with finding this ancient city, which we now know exists. Hunnam is terrific in the role, with his cut-glass accent and stiff upper lip even in the face of impending doom. He's likeable and passionate, and his scenes with the superb Miller sparkle. Patterson and Macfadyen add some texture as loyal and obnoxious colleagues, respectively. And Holland's quiet charisma very nearly steals the show.

The Lost City Of Z Trailer and Clip Trailer

Colonel Percy Fawcett is an ambitious British explorer who, come 1925, plans to take a long trip into the Amazon rainforest to uncover an ancient lost civilisation that he names 'Z'. He expects to find ruins and treasure, possibly even remnants from the legendary El Dorado, but it seems an impossible task to get the backing of the respected scientists of the day who can't possibly conceive that a civilisation perhaps more advanced than our own could exist amongst the native tribes they perceive as savages. His wife seems to be the only one who supports his mission, as well as his son Jack and another friend who agree to accompany him on the voyage. Unfortunately, this will be the trio's last trip, as they are subsequently never seen in England again.

Lost City Of Z - Teaser Trailer

In 1925, a British explorer named Colonel Percy Fawcett disappeared in the Amazon rainforest with his son Jack and one of Jack's friends. He was on the search for an ancient lost city he dubbed 'Z', rumoured to hold never before noted ruins and possibly the remains of El Dorado. He was also on the way to discover to another location in the Mato Grosso region of Brazil, which was talked of in an old manuscript he found at a library in Rio de Janeiro. However, whether or not his journey was completed remains unknown, because neither he not his companions returned from the expedition. To this day, his death remains a mystery. Many have claimed that he was killed by tribal natives in the region, others that they died after falling ill, and one story even claims he spent the rest of his days as the leader of a tribe of cannibals.

Kristen Stewart Says Relationship With Robert Pattinson Was More Like A 'Product' Than Real Life

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart has opened up about her relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, describing it as becoming like a “product”. The two actors began dating quietly in 2008, but by the time they split in 2014 they had become one of Hollywood’s most high profile couples, something which Stewart didn't enjoy.

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart says her relationship with Robert Pattinson “wasn’t real life anymore”

“People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product,” she told the New York Times’ Style magazine. "It wasn’t real life anymore. And that was gross to me.

The Childhood Of A Leader Review

Very Good

Bold and intelligent, this dark drama is a challenging portrait of the making of an authoritarian dictator. A blending of fact and fiction, this award-winning film has a remarkably visual sensibility thanks to actor-turned-director Brady Corbet and his intense cast. It's a bit relentless in its murky atmosphere, but there are flashes of genius all the way through.

The story opens in 1918 Paris, where an American diplomat (Game of Thrones' Liam Cunningham) is knee-deep in negotiations that will lead to the Treaty of Versailles. His wife (The Artist's Berenice Bejo) and pre-teen son Prescott (Tom Sweet) are rattling around their country house waiting for him to come home, and there's also a loyal maid (Yolande Moreau) and an observant nanny (Stacy Martin). But Prescott is a handful, refusing to cut his hair and challenging everyone around him by throwing a series of epic tantrums. With his father busy with work, his mother is so lonely that she turns to family friend Charles (Robert Pattinson) for company. And it doesn't help that the maid indulges Prescott's every whim, leaving the nanny unable to control him.

Where all of this goes is elusive and complex, hinting at a variety of secret activities happening just out of reach. Since everything is depicted through Prescott's immature perspective, the film's plot feels suggestive and seemingly irrational, and yet there's a driving sense of logic to it as well. And by mixing in newsreel footage to root everything into this pivotal point of history, Corbet offers haunting echoes of the young lives of populist tyrants like Hitler and Mussolini (and maybe Donald Trump). All of this allows the cast to dig deeply into their roles, offering a glimpse beneath the surface at every step. At the centre, the remarkable young Sweet is fierce and also fragile, eerily likeable even as he behaves so monstrously. Meanwhile, Bejo's helpless sensitivity is cleverly contrasted with Cunningham's distance.

Kristen Stewart has been reminiscing about the experience of falling in love for the first time, describing it as an “intense, overwhelming” feeling. 'Maps To The Stars' May Finally Earn Moore An Oscar

Kristen Stewart Tells Paparazzo: "You Don't Deserve To Breathe The Same Air I Do"

Kristen Stewart told a paparazzo he was "a piece of sh*t" who didn't "deserve to breathe the same air". The footage, which has since been leaked to TMZ, shows a different side to the Stewart. However, the video is clearly edited and only shows Stewart's reaction as opposed to the paparazzo's, probably inappropriate, questions.

The footage starts with, presumably, one of Stewart's minions waiting outside a L.A. building, where Stewart is hiding behind a gate and is obscured by its mesh. The paparazzo asks Stewart "why are you saying f**k off?" to which Stewart replies "because you're a piece of sh*t". She continues making friends by saying "you don't deserve to breathe the same air I do". She continued to insult the paparazzo before confirming her identity by leaving the safety of the gate to enter a car.

Katy Perry Is Simply "Friends" With Robert Pattinson And Has No Wish To "Disrespect" Kristen Stewart

Katy Perry has set the record straight when it comes to her relationship with Robert Pattinson. It seems highly unlikely, judging from her recent interview with Elle magazine, that the 'Part of Me' singer is having a liaison with the Twilight star.

She felt it was particularly important to emphasis the amicability of her friendship with Kristen Stewart, Pattinson's former co-star and ex-girlfriend. After rumours circulated relating to Perry's alleged involvement with Pattinson, Perry text Stewart to clear up any misunderstanding. In the Elle interview, she said "I sent her a text message saying: 'I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person.'" She went on to verify that she was "just trying to be a friend to him" and commented on the unfair assumptions the media made simply because she happened to be female and comforting her friend.

Post-Breakup, Kristen Stewart Gets Tatted Up, While Her Car Receives A Makeover Of Its Own

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

It’s been two months since the Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson breakup, but apparently the split is still hanging heavy on Stewart’s mind. Or rather, there is always someone around to remind her by, say, vandalizing her car. The On The Road actress received a nasty little note, written on her car. But while most people would settle for the classic “Wash Me” missive, the anonymous writer chose to pen the words “I [heart] Rob” in the dust on the hood.

Following the breakup, Stewart has been living it up.

The truth of that statement is questionable though. While unnamed sources for Entertainmentwise claim that the actress still hasn’t quite gotten over her old flame, her exploits of late seem to suggest otherwise. The singer has just returned to California from her trip to Paris for Fashion Week. And while Paris might be the city of love, Stewart seemed to be coping fine on her own as she lit up the red carpet at the Zuhair Murad and Chanel shows. The past few days have also seen Stewart getting a spontaneous ink job at Nashville’s Pride & Glory tattoo parlor.

It's safe to say that actress Kristen Stewart is going through a pretty emotionally troublesome time, having split with her long-term, on/off boyfriend and fellow Twilight co-star Rob Pattinson in May only to now hear reports that he's been publically moving on with Elvis Presley's granddaughter and Stewart-lookalike Riley Keough.

The actor who played Edward Cullen and the target of many a frenzied tweenage fan melt-down, Robert Pattinson, is set to be back in the game; only weeks after his split with Twilight co-star and long-term on/off girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. The relationship, described as "short-term lust right now rather than long-term love" by The Mail's source, is rather too out in the open for heart-broken Stewart, who is said to be "devastated" that her long-time lover has moved on from her since their May split. After the initial reports that Rob was dating 'I Kissed A Girl' singer Katy Perry, this last rumour is just a bit too painful for the 23- year-old. Keough and Stewart are said to be good friends after meeting on the set of 2010's The Runaways movie where they co-starred. Keough was certainly close enough the On The Road actress to be invited to her 23rd birthday celebrations - she was pictured attending Stewart's Mexican cantina birthday party.

50 Shades Of Grey Movies Gets A Release Date: The Story So Far

Sam Taylor-Wood Mila Kunis Emma Watson Alexis Bledel Ian Somerhalder Stephen Amell Robert Pattinson Krysten Ritter

50 Shades Of Grey just became the biggest movie event of summer 2014 that isn't about super heroes, with Universal announcing their plans to have the film out by August 1 2014. The film will be quite the change from Guardians of the Galaxy, the Amazing Spider-Man 2 and X Men: Days of Future Past, but with a director, script and now a release date all lined up, the much-discussed movie adaption looks like it might finally happen after all. Still no work on who will be in it though, but that's just details.

So we know when the movie should be out, and providing director Sam Taylor-Johnson can keep things on track as soon as we get our Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, then things are looking good. Taylor-Johnson was chosen to take on directing duties earlier this month and her announcement behind the camera has obviously given the producers confidence enough to push forward and commit to a date for when we'll see it on screen. Relatively inexperienced as a director, Taylor-Johnson could prove a competent pick nonetheless having achieved praise for her only work so far; the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy.

Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Split Up Again, Say Fresh Reports

Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have split up again, according to fresh reports over the weekend. Sources tell People magazine that the young couple called it quits after more than three years of dating, though representatives for both could not be reached.

The news follows online reports that Pattinson failed to show up to a celebration of his 27th birthday, arranged by Stewart. Prior to that, the pair had appeared to be going strong and were spotted together at the Met Gala in New York before they flew back to Los Angeles on May 8. They celebrated Stewart's 23th birthday together and held hands at the Coachella music festival - this after the infamous cheating scandal that rocked their relationship in 2012. Stewart had a brief fling with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders last July and made a very public apology to Pattinson. The duo reunited less than two months later and appeared to be back to normal, until now.

An insider privy to the latest split says it wouldn't be a surprise should the famous pair get back together in the near future. Stewart is about to begin work on comedy-drama The Big Shoe with Elizabeth Banks and Jim Sturgess, while Pattinson will star alongside Carey Mulligan in James Marsh's thriller Hold On To Me.

Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson - Off Again Or Off Forever?

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson – after everyone thought they’d never hear the two names together in a sentence, the stars had a miracle reconciliation, only to break up again, it would seem. According to People Magazine, after a turbulent four-year-long relationship, which saw the actors’ rise to fame, survived the scandal of Stewart’s infidelity and seemed to have continued afresh this year, the pair have called it quits. The news hasn’t yet been confirmed, as reps for the actors haven’t been reached for comment.

The breakup seems to have been brewing for a while, with reports that, instead of celebrating with his girlfriend, the Water for Elephants actor bailed on the plans she had made for them. Beer and pool tables have been mentioned, so it does look like Kristen went all out – the snub probably wasn’t pleasant.

But before that it all looked like sunshine and happiness, as the duo attended the Met Costume Gala together earlier this month and they partied it up at Coachella. So there are two possible versions of this: either Rob and Kristen change their minds about each other with lightning speed, or we’re not getting the full picture of their relationship. The latter seems more likely though, since both of them try not to address their relationship too often and remain coy about their personal lives.

Robert Pattinson Buys Kristen Stewart A Pen For 23rd Birthday. Yes, A Pen.

Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart David Cronenberg

Robert Pattinson went the whole hog for girlfriend Kristen Stewart's 23rd birthday this week. Forget Bentleys, Porsches, BMWs, mansions, boats and helicopters, because R-Patz bought the love of his life a pen. Yep, a pen.

However, it's not just ANY pen, it's a limited-edition fountain pen with a barrel identical to the dashboard in the earliest Bentley automobile - one of only 40 in the world, according to the UK's Daily Star. Furthermore, its estimated price was around £30,000, that's $46,000! "Rob decided to go big for her birthday this year," a source said. We think Kristen would have preferred a car. A real nice car.

Anyway, maybe Pattinson paid for the swanky party thrown for Stewart at Malo's Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles this week. According to X17, the pair dined with about 40 friends, including Spring Breakers star Ashley Benson. After dinner, the reunited couple stopped by No Vacancy at Hotel Jupiter where Hanson was having its album party release. REMEMBER HANSON? "They weren't overly affectionate or anything, but at points they were standing together as they talked to friends," a source told E! News. Perez Hilton said the couple are "100% back on".

Razzies Shame As Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart's Final Twilight Movie Is Source Of Scorn

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Rihanna Adam Sandler

The night before Hollywood got glammed up in back-patting mode at the Oscars, the annual Razzies ceremony – an antidote to the self-congratulatory narcissism of the Oscars – took a more cynical look at the big movies of the last 12 months. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s Twilight – Breaking Dawn Part 2 was the big winner (well, loser) of the evening, landing seven of the awards.

Kristen Stewart ‘won’ Worst Actress though we’re unclear as to whether or not this had anything to do with her sporting a pair of crutches at the Oscars the next evening. She told Anne Hathaway that she’d trodden on glass, but the sight of her hobbling around in her Oscars gown will certainly bump up the sympathy levels. Stewart’s co-star Taylor Lautner also ‘won’ a Razzie for his performance in the final Twilight movie and although Robert Pattinson didn’t quite get his name engraved on one of the awards, as such, the movie still landed the ‘Worst Screen Ensemble’ award, Reuters reports.

Rihanna also got a pasting, for her role in the frankly terrible ‘Battleship’ and of course, the Razzis is simply no longer The Razzies if Adam Sandler doesn’t get a look-in. Last year, he famously took home all ten of the awards. Except no one actually takes the awards home, because naturally, they don’t actually attend the evening of humiliation. The Razzies weren’t done with trying to take down Sandler’s career just yet, though. This year, he landed two golden raspberry statuettes: Worst Actor and Worst Screenplay, for his comedy That’s My Boy.

Robert Pattinson Looks To Gain Respect With New Movie 'The Rover'

Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart Guy Pearce Jacki Weaver

Robert Pattinson would probably be among the first to admit that his film reel isn't exactly littered with award-winning performances, however, the British star of the Twilight movies is setting about putting that right. He's made no secret of his desire to movie into 'serious' roles and made the right moves in David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis - a psychological drama based on Don DeLillo's classic novel. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal in 2012 buried the praise he won for that role, though next up for the young star is David Michod's Australian western The Rover, which began its seven-week shoot in the south of the country on Tuesday January 29, 2013.

Produced by Porchlight Films and Lava Bear Films, The River is based on a story Michod developed with Joel Edgerton, of Zero Dark Thirty fame. Set in the Australian desert, a man named Eric (Guy Pearce) has his final possessions stolen by a gang of desperate criminals. Eric sets off on a ruthless mission to track them down, enlisting the help of Pattinson's character Reynolds, the naïve and injured member of the gang who was left behind in the chaos of their most recent robbery. There's certainly plenty to get excited about here. Michod's debut feature, Animal Kingdom, was an incredible piece of work lauded by critics and audiences alike. An unnerving crime-drama set in the dusty backdrop of south-Australia, the film won various awards and landed Jacki Weaver an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. We pretty much know what we're going to get from the seasoned pro Guy Pearce, which leaves Pattinson - can the Twilight man turn in a good enough performance to pull this promising drama together?

Liberty Ross Poses Nude In Photo Shoot Following Divorce From Rupert Sanders

Model and actress Liberty Ross has shown her cheating ex-husband Rupert Sanders exactly what he's missing by posing nude in her first post-divorce photo shoot with LOVE... magazine.

Ross filed for divorce from Sanders last month following his affair with his Snow White and the Huntsman star Kristen Stewart, a film that he directed and Ross also starred in. What a way to really stick it to him then by going all the way in a breath-taking shoot for the magazine, something tells us that Sanders may very well be kicking himself right now.

Liberty also applied for joint custody of the couple’s two children, daughter Skyla, 8 and son Tennyson, 6, in the divorce settlement as well as asking for spousal support from her estranged husband, however Rupert has filed a counter suit denying her support and asking for primary custody of the children.

Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson Are Hollywood's Highest-Grossing Romantic Film Couple

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

It's official; Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are Hollywood's richest film couple, well, in terms of the gross profit of the movies they've been in. The couple's involvement in The Twilight Saga saw them easy take the top spot in Forbes' top 10 list.

"There is something unique about these films in the way that people have attached themselves to them," said Dorothy Pomerantz of Forbes.com. "The movies are unconventional, and you have the added element that the two people are a couple in real life," she added. The pair, of course, went through a difficult period when Stewart had an affair with Rupert Sanders - the director of the film she starred in, Snow White and the Huntsman - which only served to add intrigue to an already highly anticipated end to the vampire franchise. Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams with their film, The Vow, earning $125 million domestically, as well as $71 million overseas. Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler captured the No. 3 spot with Just Go With It, which earned $103 million at the U.S. box office and double that amount after international sales were included.

The $1.17 billion that Twilight gleaned far eclipses the $125 million The Vow gained, and with their stellar reputation, it looks like it'll take a lot for any Hollywood couple to overtake the famous pair.

The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 Heads Razzie Awards Shortlist (and Why The Critics Hated Them)

Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart Eddie Murphy Adam Sandler Taylor Kitsch

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, one of the most successfully grossing films of last year, heads up the Razzie Awards shortlist for the award no one wants to win – Worst Picture. Whilst the Twilight series has made big name stars out of the likes of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning, its run of films has consistently been panned by ever more desperate critics, eager to see it fail.

If reviewers haven’t had much luck derailing Twilight’s momentum, though, then they certainly did a good job of blunting the momentum of the others going up against it for this year’s Razzie. The BBC reports that high-profile failures Battleship - a film based on the board game (they probably could’ve predicted that before even going to pre-production) – and Eddie Murphy’s disastrous turn in A Thousand Words are among the contenders, with the Adam Sandler-starring That’s My Boy and sickly kids film The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure making up the numbers. It’s fair to say that all these movies took quite the tongue-lashing. Here are some choice quotes from the critics:

Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Swapping Wardrobes Now?

Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart

We've all heard of girls wearing their boyfriends clothes, but the other way round? Robert Pattinson swapped roles when he arrived in New York wearing a jacket that may very well belong to his other half Kristen Stewart, but rather that "aww," all we're feeling is "eww."

Rob was spotted arriving at JFK airport in New York City yesterday (Dec 22) after a week-long stint in the city, where he was filming for new men’s Dior fragrance advert. Although the two have been inseparable since getting back together, Stewart did not join Rob on the trip to the Big Apple, but it appears as though there weren't completely apart, as Rob was spotted wearing a jacket that may very well belong to his girlfriend.

The jacket looked a tad too small to be Rob's and with its floral lining and feminine cut, looked as though he pulled it from the wrong wardrobe when he was packing for NYC. Fans on Twitter are claiming that the jacket is a Japanese design only available in the Asian country and Rob has not been there lately, but Kristen has! Whilst some are suggesting it to be a gift others are saying it may just belong to Kristen. One Twitter user (@RobertsCaramel) said, “Apparently the Adidas jacket that Rob wore at JFK is only available in Japan and Rob hasn’t been there recently…but guess what? Kristen has."

'It's Not Terrible To Be Either Loved Or Hated': Kristen Stewart Apologises Again For Summer Disgrace

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

The world turned on Kristen Stewart when it was revealed that she had cheated on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson in an affair with her then director Rupert Sanders, a married man. The effect was so profound, in fact, that some die-hard fans and vloggers uploaded heartfelt and disturbing videos onto YouTube to exhibit their tears. She has since apologized for her actions and managed to win back her British beau, however in an interview with Newsweek she felt the need to apologize again.

"It's not a terrible thing if you're either loved or hated, but honestly," Kristen says, "I don't care 'cause it doesn't keep me from doing my sh*t. And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention...There was a lot of skirting of little girls at rest stops. Like a volleyball team would pull up and I'd dive behind a bush." Having said this though, she added "as long as people's perspective of me doesn't keep me from doing what I want to do, it doesn't matter." It doesn't sound like she's all that sorry to us, but that's for Pattinson to decide.

She's currently promoting her latest film, an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road after finishing her final work as Bella in the four films of The Twilight Saga. On the Road will be released in the USA this Friday, 21st December.

'Breaking Dawn Part 2' Tops US Box Office For A Second Week

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson James Bond Daniel Craig Steven Spielberg Daniel Day Lewis

The final instalment of the 'Twilight Saga', 'Breaking Dawn Part 2', starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson has topped the US box office for the second weekend in a row during the Thanksgiving holiday.

The teen vampire flick brought in a massive $64 million from November 21st to 25th adding to the $163 million already grossed by the popular movie in the States. It certainly helped the box office break their Thanksgiving takings record with an estimated $290 million beating their previous record from 2009 of $273 million over the course of the American holiday.

Coming in second place at the box office was the most successful James Bond movie so far, 'Skyfall', which brought in $51 million over the weekend totalling $221.7 million altogether for the US. The immense success of the film has made 007 star Daniel Craig the highest earning British actor after signing a £31 million contract to appear in two further Bond films.

Could Twilight And Skyfall Break Thanksgiving Weekend Records

Daniel Craig Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson James Bond

It's no surprise films keep breaking box office records; the tickets cost more. But they've still got to attract those fans into movie theatres, and that's what Twilight and Skyfall seem to be doing, as they're predicted to break Thanksgiving weekend box office records.

The tradition is to open films on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, which gives the kids - who are off school on that day - the chance to go and see their favourite characters on the big screen. It seems to have worked well for Twilight and Skyfall, as the films combined to collect $44.3 million in total U.S. and Canadian ticket sales for the day; an impressive feat for one day's work. The previous weekend, Twilight had already managed the huge sum of  $141.3 million. The 2009 holiday weekend record of $273 million saw The Twilight Saga: New Moon and the football flick, The Blind Side, bring in the cash, but if current figures are anything to go by - and they're already 20% higher than 2009's effort - this weekend will herald a record breaking total.

It looks like financial posterity in the light of a global financial crisis doesn't deter film goers, in fact, a dose of romantic escapism is probably just what a struggling public need to distract them from their financial woes. The poor get poorer, the rich get richer, and the movie-stars get even richer.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 Breaking Spanish Cinema Records.

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

The Twilight Saga is usually subject to box office analysis in the U.S and The U.K, but it's over in Spain that the final instalment of the franchise, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, has been breaking records, gleaning [euro]9.2 million (USD $11,784,400) in total box office gross, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Spain is arguably per capita the most successful territory for the Twilight saga, which is a tribute to the quality of the films, the faithfulness of the fans but also the work and expertise of our Spanish team," said Xavier Marchand, President of Worldwide Distribution, Alliance Films. "The movie-going market in Spain is hot right now thanks to a strong performance by [Spanish animated feature] Tad, The Lost Explorer followed by The Impossible," Rentrak's Spain General Manager David Rodriguez said. The Twilight franchise has grossed a total of [euro]71,794,410 (USD $91,896,554), in Spain, with New Moon slightly eclipsing the others with  [euro]19,982,390. "This record shows the strength of the Twilight saga in Spain and the skills of our theatrical team, in a very difficult marketplace," Jorge Vazquez, Aurum's general manager said in a statement.

Twilight isn't the only movie making waves in continental Europe; this announcement comes on the heels of a previous record-breaking weekend by Juan Antonio Bayona's The Impossible, which earned 8.97 million euros ($11.5 million) in mid-October.

Rupert Sanders Sacrificed For Kristen Stewart For Snow White Sequel

Kristen Stewart Rupert Sanders Robert Pattinson

Luck doesn't quite cover the immense bouts of very good things that happen to Kristen Stewart, nor does Karma, but something is really working on K-Stew's side.

Last summer photos of Stewart and the married director of Snow White and the Huntsman kissing emerged, which lead to the break up of Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Since then, Pattinson has forgiven her, she's strutted the red carpet for the release of the final instalment of the incredibly successful Twilight Saga series, and now it has been confirmed that she'll be returning as the eponymous heroine in the sequel to the Snow White and the Huntsman, but that Rupert Sanders would not be returning.

"The script has already been written and production will begin late next year," a source told Radar. "However, Rupert Sanders definitely won't be a part of the project. Rupert didn't want to be a part of it to begin with because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage. The search is still on for a new director." According to the source, Kristen is very worried about her career after the end of Twilight, apparently "There are scripts coming in, but not as many good ones as she would like." Plus, "It's distressing to Kristen that Rob is attached to four separate movies over the next year-and-a-half." She fears that her summertime indiscretion has hurt her career. Of course, it could be that she's a terrible actress and anyone writing a decent script knows it, but who's to say?

Box Office Update: Twilight Storms To The Top Of The Box Office Charts

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Steven Spielberg Daniel Day Lewis

A big weekend for the U.S Box Office saw the much anticipated premiere of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 - the final instalment of the franchise - win the weekend at a canter.

Coming at over three times its nearest rival, Skyfall, which managed $41,500,000 in its second week, Twilight amassed a staggering $141,300,000 on its opening weekend. Having already enjoyed a limited release previously, Steven Spielberg's political epic Lincoln managed $21,000,000 in first full weekend, while Disney's Wreck it Ralph claimed the #4 spot with $18,312,000 - an impressive feat for its third week. Flight, starring Denzel Washington as a pilot with alcohol problems and also in its third week rounds off the top 5 $8,615,000. Fighting for Oscars honours with both Lincoln and possibly Flight will be Ben Affleck's Argo, which can't muster the same kind of commercial clout as it's biggest rivals. In on its 6th week, Argo holds 6th place. Astonishingly maintaining a presence in the top 10 is Taken 2. The Liam Neeson thriller, despite being critically panned has been a fair success, with $2,100,000 this weekend, and a cumulative net of  $134.6M.

The rest of the top 10 looks like this: Pitch Perfect takes 8th in its 8th week, the disappointing Here Comes The Boom takes 9th spot with $1,200,000, and finally, Cloud Atlas clings on at #10 with a puny $900,000 in its 4th week.

Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 Rating Nearly Reached 'R' Classification

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

It's not something often considered by fans, but a film's rating can exclude millions of fans should it step over the lines of the classifications they are subject to. Director Bill Condon can told MTV that the final instalment of the Twilight saga nearly earned itself an R.

"It was a close call, because they did say it was very, very intense," Condon said. "I wrote a letter [to the MPAA ratings board] and said that this is the only way we could do it, and they were cool [with it]," he added. "They said to pull back a little on the sound, the crunchy [head-smashing/decapitating] sound, and we did, and that got us our [PG-13] rating. There was one [effect] where we rip a head and you kind of see it come apart [that] I was sure we would have more trouble with, but we didn't." Hardcore vampire fans had been a little miffed at the lack of bloodsucking in previous films, but this one certainly delivers.

Saga is perhaps the most appropriate word for the Twilight franchise. A lot of focus was drawn to the infedility of Kristen Stewart, as she cheated on boyfriend and colleague Robert Pattinson. The vampire icons were amidst a cloud of strife surrounding their very public breakup, but all seems to have settled down as Breaking Dawn Part 2 enjoyed its much anticipated premier this weekend.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Review

Very Good

With a flurry of bonkers action and cross-species bonding, The Twilight Saga surges to a howling conclusion that has more attitude in it than all four previous films put together. There's no time for moping now, as things build to a crescendo of girly emotion, portentous pronouncements and more decapitations than you can count. Even the plot itself gets rather playful.

We pick things up immediately after Part 1 ended: Bella (Kristen) is getting used to her heightened vampire senses and intense lovemaking prowess with her new husband Edward (Pattinson), while their daughter Renesmee (Foy) ages alarmingly from infancy to about 10 in just a few weeks, overseen by soulmate-protector wolf-boy Jacob (Lautner). But the ruling Volturi boss (Sheen) has been misinformed that Renesmee is a feared immortal child, rather than a rare but apparently harmless human-vampire hybrid. As the Volturi army heads to Seattle to obliterate Edward and the Cullen clan (including Facinelli, Reaser, Greene and Lutz), the Cullens draft in an army of their own from around the world.

Essentially the film is a long build-up to a big showdown, as everyone jostles for position. This makes the film feel much pacier than the earlier chapters, as we jump from scene to scene while the Cullens prepare for the onslaught. Many scenes involve the introduction of the vampires who support their effort, and like X-men many have some sort of supernatural ability that can aid the fight. Thankfully, director Condon refuses to take this nonsense seriously, and has quite a lot of fun with the various story elements. He also gleefully ramps up the tetchy interaction between Jacob and Edward, and even makes a joke about the fact that actors playing vampires must wear red contact lenses.

Kristen Stewart Breaking Dawn - Part 2 London Premiere

Some crazy Twilight fans had camped in London's Leicester Square for days before last night's UK premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, attended by the likes of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Spending most of their time in Los Angeles these days, the A-list pair must have thought "Who the hell's that guy?" as they spotted X-Factor's Christopher Maloney strutting his stuff down the red-carpet. Indeed, whilst their premiere earlier in the week across in Los Angeles saw the great and the good of Hollywood come out, the stars of the sci-fi film series would've been surprised to find themselves brushing shoulders with such British, um, luminaries as Jermaine Defoe, Joey Essex, Tinchy Stryder and numerous gold medallists from the Great Britain summer Olympics squad still trying to catch those last rays of their moment in the sun.

Conor Maynard Attends Twilight Premiere To Top Sensational Year

Conor Maynard Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart

I'm sure we're all in agreement that Conor Maynard is entitled to attend a couple of showbiz parties or glitzy premieres to wind down what has been a pretty sensational 2012 for the young chart-topper from Brighton. Maynard did just that on Wednesday evening (14 November), heading down to London's Leicester Square for the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. He's got the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena to come and has a chance at a 4Music Video Honour at the results show on 24 November.

Twilight Saga - Where's The Real Drama? The Movie Premiere Or Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart's Love Affair?

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Rupert Sanders Liberty Ross

The phrase "The Twilight Saga" has taken on new meaning over months gone by. What once simply referred to one of the biggest movie franchises of all time, has now become a phrase that cannot be uttered without the off-screen drama of its two biggest stars, springing straight to the forefront of your mind. The final episode in the Twilight movie schedule is almost upon us but how much do we even care about the movie anymore? Does the general public's interest in Breaking Dawn - Part 2 start and end with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's eventful real-life emotional dramas? Or is there still a place in our hearts for the vampire movies that have consumed us (and our money) since 2008?

To recap, in case you are - somehow (though we don't know how this could possibly happen, especially not if you follow the news here at Contact) - unaware of the drama that has occurred between everybody's favourite on-screen / off-screen couple, R-Patz and KStew, Kristen Stewart was ousted as a love cheat earlier this year, when photos of her emerged, revealing that she had had an affair with the director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders. To make matters even more uncomfortable, Kristen had starred alongside Sanders' wife, Liberty Ross, in Snow White and the Huntsman. Liberty played Queen Eleanor. Kristen's mother. Embarrassing stuff for all involved.

After a very public, emotional apology to her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, Kristen found that her relationship was, by all accounts, over. The tabloid-reading world collectively stepped over the divide and showed its support for Rob, as he reportedly went to ground and hid away in the covert holiday home that belonged to his celebrity pal Reese Witherspoon. Whilst we mourned the end of one of Hollywood's cutest young romances, though, attention slowly started to turn towards the forthcoming Twilight movie. How the hell were the movie's producers going to handle the press junkets if the two lead actors couldn't bear to be in the same room together?

To the grave disappointment of everyone who was secretly (or not so secretly) longing for the exchange of frosty looks on the red carpet, the couple somehow managed to overcome their problems. The fact that Kristen Stewart had utterly, utterly humiliated Rob, very very publicly, in the kind of breakup that not only (presumably) broke Pattinson's heart but probably broke the sales records of a few weekly gossip mags, somehow got swept to one side. It started with Rob saying that he'd still walk the red carpet with Kristen, to protect her from all the nasty booing she was inevitably going to encounter from disgruntled fans and then began to evolve into stories about them overcoming their differences and - goddamnit - getting back together.

A Week In News Feat: Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum, Madonna, Rolling Stones, One Direction And More!

Favorite Girl? Unfortunately, it was always on the cards. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez went their separate ways this week, owing to their hectic schedules. Though the gossip suggests Justin might have his eyes on a couple of Victoria's Secret models, we can't help but think these two might be back together sooner than you think. Watch this space.

Back in the Game: It was good to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson back on the Twilight promotional grind this week. Both walked the red-carpet at the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere in Los Angeles, holding each other close for the cameras. Who said young love is dead?

Pitt Against Zombies! We here at Contactmusic.com were a little excited this week after the first trailer for World War Z, starring Brad Pitt, hit the web. Forget The Walking Dead, forget 28 Days Later, this is the flesh-eating un-dead on another level! Check it out.

Fashion Face Off: Twilight's Kristen Stewart Versus Ashley Greene

Kristen Stewart Ashley Greene Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart stole all the headlines after the Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere in Los Angeles this week, wearing a lacy floor length Zuhaur Murad gown that left little to the imagination. The designer is favoured by the likes of Jennifer Lopez, so it was a little odd to see the more casual Stewart in the blingy dress.

The actress has actually donned sheer dresses before, most recently at the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere where she was spotted getting a little too close to director Rupert Sanders. It emerged that the pair had been having an affair, leading to the end of her relationship with Robert Pattinson.

There was only one story at the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 premiere last night: the public reunion of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

The stars of The Twilight Saga walked down the red carpet for a premiere of the franchise for the last ever time last night (November 12) and there was no surprise which two of the cast were taking center stage, with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson making a public reunion after promotional trails that have seen them take on different territories. The pair looked happy to be in each other's company, memories of their acrimonious summer seemingly all but forgotten as they lit up the red carpet in Los Angeles.

A Week In Movies Featuring: Argo, My Brother The Devil, Colin Firth, Cameron Diaz, Alan Rickman, Hitchcock, Emma Stone, Penelope Cruz And More!

As big movies like Skyfall and Argo open in the USA and UK respectively, it's the smaller titles that are getting the most attention. The British independent drama My Brother the Devil won awards at Sundance and festivals in Berlin, London, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and has garnered four-star reviews across the board from UK critics this weekend. Now the public gets a chance to see it.

In London, the stars turned out this week for the premiere of Gambit, a remake of the 1966 heist comedy. The film's stars Colin Firth, Cameron Diaz, Alan Rickman and Tom Courtenay were on hand both for the red carpet premiere and a meet-the-filmmakers event at London's Apple Store.

Meanwhile, Helen Mirren has been doing Q&As in London for her new film Hitchcock, in which she plays Alma Reville, wife of Alfred Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins). The movie traces the making of Psycho with Janet Leigh (Scarlett Johansson), Vera Miles (Jessica Biel) and Anthony Perkins (James D'Arcy). A new trailer makes it look like a lot of fun. And a probable awards contender too.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2 Trailer

Not long since the harrowing and almost fatal birth of their daughter Renesmee, newly born vampire Bella Cullen nee Swan and her new husband Edward have even more deadly drama to contend with. With prestigious Italian vampire coven the Volturi led by Vampire Irina accusing the rapidly growing Renesmee of being a demon child, Bella and Edward have no time to enjoy married life and bring her up together like regular parents. Based on the best-selling novels by Stephenie Meyer, 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2' has been directed by 'Part 1's director Bill Condon ('Dreamgirls', 'Gods and Monsters') with screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg (who has written all of the other screenplays for the blockbuster series) working alongside him. Stephenie Meyer: I Can't Rule Out More Twilight Books

Stephenie Meyer Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart

We were wondering how long it would be. Just days before the final Twilight movie hits cinemas, author Stephenie Meyer has refused to rule out writing more of the vampire-romance novels. It's likely that fans haven't seen the last of Bella and Edward yet, and we're not just talking about the rumoured television adaptation.

Speaking at a press junket for the new movie, Meyer was quoted by The Metro as saying, "I wouldn't say no absolutely (to more books). I'm not going to do it today, but I don't know how I'm going to feel in five years.I planned out where it would go for a couple more books... there are other characters who I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories." However, the author did make it clear that she would not be tempted to hand the reins over to somebody else - in the same way that George Lucas sold LucasFilm to Disney - explaining, "I'm a hands-on mum and these characters feel like my kids. I just don't know if that's ever something I'd be fine with. But again, in 10 years, who knows." Last week it was announced that Lucas had sold his brainchild to Disney for a cool $4 billion, with the studio putting plans together to make further Star Wars movies. Meyer's comments come just a month after JK Rowling admitted to the BBC that she wouldn't rule out writing further Harry Potter novels.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, hits cinemas on November 16.

Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson Go To Prince Concert On A Date?

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Prince

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were spotted letting off some steam at a Prince concert, which should go some way towards answering the ‘are they still together?’ question.

According to TMZ, “Rob and Kristen rolled up to the Sayers Club in Hollywood in the same SUV . . . and sneaked into the back entrance to see the Purple One live in concert. A short time later, the couple rushed back into the car — trying to cover their faces — but it was too late . . . they'd been made.” During the show, "He was behind her – holding her around her hips," an onlooker told PEOPLE. "They were sweetly affectionate and tender. They stood the entire show and loved every second." Just in case any of you were struggling with the aforementioned question, the answer is increasingly looking like a big old yes, which a few months ago would have been a ridiculous thing to suggest, considering the high profile infidelities that seemingly ripped their young love to pieces.

The pair were probably just enjoying some quality time together after, like a naughty partnership at the back of the class, they were separated for promo duties for the Breaking Dawn. Robert was down under in Australia while Kiristen was putting in the hours in Japan. Life’s tough.

Breaking Dawn Part 2: Kristen Stewart Saved By 'The Twilight Effect'?

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart seems to have had her reputation saved by what will henceforth be known as ‘The Twilight Effect.’ Not long ago, K-Stew was considered the scourge of the movie world. It was discovered that she had cheated on fellow Twilight star Robert Pattinson, with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders and as a result, she was pretty much hung out to dry by the world’s media, not to mention Pattinson’s considerable fan base.

Recently, though, it has looked as though the couple have been reconciling their differences and even the staunchest of Pattinson’s fans seem to have resigned themselves to the fact that frankly, it’s better for everyone if they’re back together, otherwise that Twilight spell will be broken. So now, we have Kristen Stewart, smiling sweetly at fans during a Breaking Dawn Part Two photocall in Tokyo, Japan, looking like butter wouldn’t melt. It seems that The Twilight Effect can cure all ills… even the biggest Hollywood relationship scandal in recent memory.

Is Kristen Stewart Back Together With Robert Pattinson?

Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson Rupert Sanders

The Sun were suggesting it earlier in the week, and now US Weekly seem pretty convinced too: Kristen Stewart has successfully managed to lure back her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson in spite of admitting that she'd cheated on him with Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders just over two months ago.

A source had told The Sun midweek "They pretty much decided they couldn't live without each other. Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake" adding that the pair had now moved into a secluded pad in Los Angeles together and that "Rob sees it as Kristen made a really stupid mistake. After a lot of long tearful talks, they've worked it out. Rob can see how truly sorry Kristen is and has totally forgiven her. They really do love each other."

Us Weekly have now backed these claims up, with a source telling them that the pair have had "a dramatic make-up", the British actor finally acquiescing to requests by Stewart for a meet-up, and that the two have had several since. Pattinson is still in love with Stewart apparently. All of which leads us to believe that the whole thing has been engineered simply as a way drum up promotion and attention on both stars ahead of the release of the final Twilight film. We'll let you decide on that though.

Well, well, well, dare we cynically point out that this was all some sort of diabolical marketing ploy? Reports from E! Online are suggesting that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been spending time together in secret, just a couple of months after the shocking revelations came out about Stewart having an affair with her Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

At the time it looked like Pattinson and Stewart were over and that R-Patz was never going to be able to forgive Stewart, moving out of the house they shared in Los Angeles and as such fuelling rumours that he would be moving back to London. However, both of them have been making public appearances since, and both seem strangely unflustered by the whole thing, Stewart getting back to her beaming best after making a public apology to Pattinson. Pattinson's been doing a run of chat shows to promote films including the final Twilight movie Breaking Dawn - Part 2 and there doesn't seem to be too much stress for either.

There's no official word on whether the pair are back together, and their representatives haven't commented, but it's understood by E! that they are definitely talking and have even met up at a couple of different locations. Given that the entertainment media has been talking about almost nothing else over the summer other than their relationship status, this could be the biggest marketing coup for their forthcoming film.

'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson is met with screams from fans as he arrives at 'Good Morning America' in New York City but he is rushed immediately inside by his security team. Cosmopolis Review

Good
Artful, intelligent and wilfully obtuse, Cronenberg uses his skill to hold our interest through this oddity of a film. But it's difficult to engage with such fragmented film, especially when its big themes are hidden in overwritten dialog.

Eric (Pattinson) is a 28-year-old billionaire who wants a haircut. As he climbs into his high-tech limousine, his security chief (Durand) warns about traffic problems because the US President's in Manhattan. En route, Eric continues his routine, meeting his computer expert (Baruchel), theoretician (Morton) and financial advisor (Hampshire), who talks to him during his daily prostate exam.

He also sees his new wife (Gadon) several times, has sex with two women (Binoche and McKenzie), endures an anarchists' riot, gets a pie in the face and confronts a man (Giamatti) who wants to kill him.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 Trailer

Bella Swan is finally a vampire. She discovers that the world seems somewhat brighter now and learns about the heightened senses that vampires have. She takes quickly to vampire life - very quickly, to the surprise of the Cullens, who were anticipating that it would take decades - even centuries - for Bella to adjust.

Bel Ami Review

Good
Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel was first adapted for the cinema in 1919, and yet the story has some intriguing parallels with European society today. On the other hand, this adaptation never finds its tone, and it doesn't give us a single character to care about.

In 1890 Paris, penniless charmer Georges (Pattinson) has a chance encounter with former comrade Charles (Glenister), who offers him a job as a journalist.

Unable to string a sentence together, Charles' wife Madeleine (Thurman) offers to help, but refuses his relentless flirting. Instead he starts a torrid affair with married family friend Clotilde (Ricci). But a taste of the high life goes to his head, and when Charles dies, he makes a move for Madeleine. Or maybe he can get more out of Virginie (Scott Thomas), wife of the newspaper boss (Meaney).

He arrives back in Paris and begins working as a clerk for the next six months, soon becoming penniless. One night, Georges goes to a pub after work and runs into former comrade, Charles Forestier, who is now working as a journalist. After catching up, Forestier offers Georges a job at the publication where he works, which he accepts.

Breaking Dawn: Part 1 Review

Very Good
Finally, everyone stops taking the Twilight saga so seriously, creating a surprisingly entertaining romp. Yes, everyone still mopes, but they now do so with a twinkle in the eye and a growling sense of underlying menace.

After an idyllic woodland wedding and Brazilian-island honeymoon, Bella (Stewart) finds herself unexpectedly pregnant by her new vampire husband Edward (Pattinson). But what's growing inside her? Edward's family closes ranks to take care of her fast-growing foetus, watched over by her wolf-pal Jacob (Lautner). The problem is that if Bella dies, as seems likely since the baby is sucking the life from her, the tenuous treaty between vampires and werewolves will be broken, leading to all-out war. This of course puts Jacob in a tricky position.

Video - Robert Pattinson Takes Photos With Lucky Fans

Twilight star Robert Pattinson (Water For Elephants; Remember Me; Little Ashes) is seen arriving at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York to tape an appearance for The Late Show With David Letterman. He gets out of the car to screams and cheers from his waiting fans. He takes photos with a few lucky fans before crossing the road to sign posters and autographs.

Robert Pattinson rose to fame playing tragic Hogwarts student Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but it was his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight films that shot him to international stardom

Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart attend a Hand and Footprint ceremony outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, in honour of their work on the hugely successful Twilight franchise. The actors - who play Jacob Black, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan respectively - are flattered and overwhelmed by the 'unreal support' from their fans, with Kristen admitting that attending the ceremony was 'crazy'. Meanwhile, Robert jokes that he shouldn't have worn a suit in the hot LA sunshine.

The final book of the series, Breaking Dawn, has been split into two parts; the first part will be released on November 18th, while Part 2 has a release date of November 2012

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Review

OK
Part 3 of Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster tale continues the downward spiral of moping. It's efficiently made, with a few moments of energy and levity, but everyone really needs to lighten up.

Even though they're now pledged to be together forever, Bella (Stewart) and her dreamy vampire boyfriend Edward (Pattinson) are stuck in a gloomy funk. Not only does she have lingering feelings for Edward's mortal enemy, the hard-bodied werewolf Jacob (Lautner), but vengeful vampire Victoria (Howard) is still after her. Meanwhile, an army of young-blood vampires is building in nearby Seattle, mobilised by the hot-headed Riley (Samuel). And a Vulpari delegation, led by pain-monger Jane (Fanning) is on its way to clean up the mess.

Remember Me Review

Weak
Even before the manipulative final act, this film will get on the nerves of most viewers with its over-serious tone and sentimentalised plot. And the main problem is that all of this leaves the cast with little to do besides mope.

Tyler (Pattinson) is a 21-year-old student who still hasn't recovered from the suicide of his big brother six years ago. He devotes himself to his little sister Caroline (Jerins) and rebels against their wealthy father (Brosnan). When he's brutally arrested by a cop (Cooper), his chucklehead flatmate (Ellington) suggests that he get even by dating the cop's daughter Ally (de Ravin), a fellow student. It turns out that Ally also has a personal tragedy in her life, and of course they fall in love as they try to sort out their issues.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Review

Good
Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga continues with this darker and even mopier chapter. The relational knots of emo heroes and dreamy hunks are making it start to feel rather soapy. It may not be as sharp as Catherine Hardwick's Twilight, but it'll keep fans swooning.

Just as Bella (Stewart) turns 18 and begins her senior year in high school, her beloved Edward (Pattinson) decides he has to leave town for her safety. In a deep funk, she eventually turns to neighbour Jacob (Lautner) for company, but their friendship takes a twist when he starts getting hunky and tetchy and hanging out with gang-leader Sam (Spencer). But it's not steroids; the gang members are actually werewolves, locked in mortal combat with vampires. And she needs (and wants) to keep both Edward and Jacob in her life.
