Robert Pattinson will star in Saddam Hussein movie 'Mission: Blacklist'.

The 25-year-old actor - who is currently in Canada reshooting scenes for the last 'Twilight' film alongside girlfriend Kristen Stewart - will play a leading role in the film about military interrogator Eric Maddox and his team's hunt for the Iraqi dictator.

Jean Stephane Sauvaire will direct the movie, which is based on the novel 'Mission: Black List #1' by Maddox and David Seay.

Ross M. Dinerstein, Erik Jendresen and Kevil Waller are to produce the picture.

Robert recently starred in 'Bel Ami' alongside Christina Ricci and Uma Thurman, and will next be seen in 'Cosmopolis'.

While at the Cannes Film Festival to promote 'Cosmopolis', it is expected he will speak to potential buyers of 'Mission: Blacklist'.

The final instalment of the vampire movie series, 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' is set to hit cinemas on November 16.
