Robin Thicke is still trying to salvage his broken relationship with his estranged wife Paula Patton.

The 37 year-old singer's most recent attempt to get back together with the 38 year-old actress occurred at this Sunday's BET awards in an onstage tribute.

Thicke performed a love song from his new album, aptly titled 'Paula,' for the sold-out audience at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater, as well as the millions of viewers.

"I'd like to dedicate this to my wife," the 'Blurred Lines' singer said just before his performance of 'Forever Love'. "I miss you and I'm sorry."

Thicke has been issuing all kinds of public apologies to Patton since their separation this past February.

At the time of the couple's split, over 4 months ago, they released a joint statement which read: "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."

But it is apparent that in the eyes of Thicke, their relationship is not over yet as he has seemed to be on a mission to win her back ever since.

Just last month the 'Give It 2 U' singer made a loving gesture in front of a packed audience at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas when his hit track 'Blurred Lines' won the prize for Top Hot 100 Song. "Most importantly, I'd like to thank my wife for her love and support and for putting up with me all these years," he said during his very short acceptance speech.
