Veteran rocker Kenney Jones is adamant Rod Stewart will rejoin his Faces bandmates for a full reunion of the classic '70s band next year (13).
The Stay With Me hitmakers reunited in 2010 but took on former Simply Red frontman Mick Hucknall to sing with the band after talks with Stewart broke down.
Rumours the Maggie May hitmaker was planning to join the comeback have proved unfounded, but now drummer Jones has revealed Stewart is in the frame to perform with Faces next year.
Jones tells Mojo magazine, "We're still talking about it. Rod's got an open invitation, but his manager keeps booking him into Vegas two years in advance. (Guitarist Ronnie Wood) has got to do something in the (Rolling) Stones before the year's out, and next year they'll do something in America to celebrate their 50th. After that? I think this time next year The Faces (sic) will be doing something... maybe we'll have to follow Rod to Vegas!"
