The Who Stars Roger Daltrey And Pete Townshend's Current Tour Will Be Their Last Because The Rockers Feel Too Old To Carry On.
As the veterans, who are 71 and 70 respectively, prepare to close this year's (15) Glastonbury festival in England on Sunday night (28Jun15), Townshend has alerted fans the performance could be one of their last in Britain.
Townshend says, "I think I will stop after this year. We’re lucky we’re not in some old people’s home and can do this now. When this tour is over, we’ll probably go our separate ways. It’s to demonstrate even this particular gang can grow old, not necessarily gracefully but can grow old ungracefully - or whatever it is we’re doing.”
The band's ongoing The Who Hits 50! Tour concludes in Oakland, California in December (15).
