The Darkness' drummer Emily Davies, who took over from original member Ed Graham, quit in April (14), and they have now hired Rufus Taylor as her replacement.

Guitarist Dan Hawkins confirmed the news to Real Radio XS, saying, "We already have someone, and we actually played our first show with him last night. The 'drummist' will be known as Rufus Taylor, son of Roger Taylor."

Frontman Justin Hawkins also added a video of Taylor rehearsing on his Instagram.com page.
