Fact: Basketball player and aspiring rapper Ron Artest has legally changed his name to Metta World Peace. A judge officially signed off on the Los Angeles Lakers forward's request on Friday (16Sep11), and the star hopes it will "inspire and bring youth together all around the world". He will unveil his new moniker on Monday (19Sep11), when he appears on the new season of U.S. TV's Dancing with the Stars.
