Comedienne ROSIE O'DONNELL introduces her friend Sharon Gless from the TV series 'Queer As Folk' for the acceptance of the Ally Award at Toronto's PFLAG presentation.
Rosie describes Sharon as 'beautiful on the inside as she is on the out' before embracing her as she approaches the stage. She is handed her award and Rosie kisses her on the mouth before PFLAG President Irene Miller makes a speech. 'I have to tell you when we told people we were going to honour Sharon Gless, without a word of a lie, male, female, straight, gay, everyone said, 'I love her'', Irene told the crowd.
