Wendi Deng Murdoch, the former wife of media mogul Rupert Murdoch, was seemingly infatuated with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. In a love letter obtained by a magazine, Deng Murdoch lusts over Blair's "good body and legs."

The letter was obtained by Vanity Fair and was written by Deng Murdoch to herself, evidently never intended for public circulation. Nevertheless an extract from the letter has been published online and the rest will appear in the upcoming edition of the magazine. The extract reads: "Whatever why I'm so, so missing Tony. Because he is so, so charming and his clothes are so good. He has such good body and he has really, really good legs Butt. And he is slim tall and good skin. Pierce blue eyes which I love. Love his eyes. Also I love his power on the stage. And what else and what else and what else."

It appears Blair was aware of Deng Murdoch's infatuation and that she deliberately exploited her husband's close friendship with the British politician in order to see him frequently, according to sources. One source speaking to the magazine claimed Deng Murdoch had invited Blair to one of their houses, giving him the false impression that her husband would be in. The source described Blair's encounter and his response to Deng Murdoch's advance, stating "one day Mr Blair arrived and Mrs Murdoch was sort of being very flirtatious. She was charming him. He asked the staff, 'When is Mr Murdoch going to arrive?' And when he was told, 'Tomorrow night,' Mr Blair rolled his eyes and gave a panicked look."

The news of the Murdoch's divorce surprised many last year when their representative announced in July that their marriage had been over for more than 6 months but they were officially filing for divorce. According to VF, Deng Murdoch had been involved with a number of different men and that the failure of the marriage was entirely down to her affairs. In yet another bizarre account, the same source even alleges that Blair actively engaged in the relationship, that "they would have a day or night."

None of the parties involved, allegedly or not, have commented on the allegations and report. A representative, on behalf of the former couple, said: "Given the complicated dynamics of our family, we made the decision early on in this process not to engage in public allegations or respond to negative claims."

Whether or not the events actually transpired, it is ironically exactly the sort of scandal Murdoch's newspapers thrive on.
