Actors Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks escaped injury on Wednesday (14Oct09) when a fire engine crashed into a van the stars were filming in.
The pair is shooting new movie The Next Three Days in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but production was halted on Wednesday when the truck ploughed into the front of their vehicle, which was parked near a fire station.
The van's bumper was knocked off in the collision, but no injuries were reported.
