Hollywood hunk Ryan Gosling was nearly unrecognizable in a disguise when he returned to the set of the upcoming 1970s-set flick 'The Nice Guys' along with his veteran co-star Russell Crowe, who also looked dressed for the part.

The 34-year-old actor, who became a father in September 2014 after his girlfriend Eva Mendes gave birth to a baby girl, sported a cast on his left arm, along with an Aloha shirt, gold chain, and a tight white tank top while filming his latest movie. To finish off his 70s look, Gosling was wearing a pair of khakis and a gold watch.

Whereas Crowe's outfit consisted of a blue leather jacket, blue shirt and matching blue jeans, while a pair of aviators rested on top of his head.

The acting duo are starring in a thriller, based in Los Angeles, that follows a private eye (Gosling) and hired muscle (Crowe) as they try to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated apparent suicide of a failing porn star. However, the pair quickly uncover a much bigger conspiracy between the two.

Beau Knapp and Keith David are playing Gosling and Crowe's adversaries, two hitmen, in the Shane Black-directed movie. Matt Bomber, Kate Basinger and Margaret Qualley are also part of the talented cast.

Black and Anthony Bagarozzi co-wrote the screenplay, and Joel Silver is producing under his Silver Pictures banner with Ken Kao of Waypoint Entertainment.
