World record long distance swimmer Diana Nyad is joined by her family in the Herald Square pool in New York where she has been swimming for 48 hours to help raise money for Hurricane Sandy relief. A young boy called Harrison who could be her grandson tries his hand at swimming up and down the pool and appears to enjoy himself immensely.
She is later seen talking to Olympic gold medallist swimmer Ryan Lochte about his hopes for the 2016 Olympics and other swimming related topics, before photographers insist on snapping them shaking hands and Diana dubs him the 'best swimmer in the world'. 'I love swimming but, 48 hours of swimming? I don't know if I could do that', he told an interviewer.
