Ryan Reynolds and his actress wife Blake Lively, who tied the knot in September 2012, welcomed their first child into the world over the Christmas holidays, and it seems the 38-year-old actor is adjusting to fatherhood quite well.

While talking with People magazine at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, Reynolds couldn't help but gush about his family life is after the birth of his daughter. "I gotta jump in and do all those sorts of things," he said.

"I mean, I've even tried breastfeeding," Reynolds, who was at the festival for his new film, 'Mississippi Grind,' jokingly added. "It's frustrating for the baby and frankly disturbing for me...not well is the answer."

However, when Reynolds eventually got serious, he said everything has been "great" since he and his 27-year-old wife became first-time parents. "It's amazing that you can be that exhausted and that happy at the same time," he added.

Although the 'Green Lantern' actor only spoke briefly about his baby daughter, he will undoubtedly be over the moon about becoming a father, especially since Reynolds has spoken about his desire to start a family in the past.

In a 2013 interview with Details magazine, Reynolds said: "We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families-my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."

Congratulations to the proud parents!
