The actor has finally received a star on the Hollywood Boulevard.
Ryan Reynolds celebrated his receipt of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week by introducing his daughters to the public officially for the first time. He and Blake Lively brought along their daughter James, and their newest daughter whose name we are still yet to discover.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds reunited with their family
It was a family affair on the Hollywood Boulevard yesterday (December 15th 2016), with 'Deadpool' star Ryan Reynolds accepting his Walk of Fame star with wife Blake - who was absolutely stunning in a blue Atelier Versace dress - and his 2-year-old and 2-month-old daughters.
It was quite a big deal for Reynolds to bring out the whole family so publicly, given that they are largely private people, which just goes to show how much the honour means to him. 'This is one of the rare occasions when we thought we got to bring the whole clan', Reynolds told Extra. 'I'd regret it in 20 years if I didn't.'
James certainly seemed to be enjoying all the attention, stealing the microphone from her dad's hands and hardly being able to keep still. 'It's not the first time she's snatched a mic out of someone's hands', Reynolds quipped. 'When she's 20, she can happily do whatever she wants. Thirty - I'm gonna up that to 30.'
More: Ryan Reynolds receives Critics' Choice Award
It's turning out to be quite the year for the 40-year-old. He's starred in two big movies - 'Criminal' and 'Deadpool' - and won the Critics Choice Award for the latter as well as two MTV Movie Awards. He's also nominated in two People's Choice Award categories, and he's up for Best Performance by an Actor at the Golden Globes. Top that with the birth of his second daughter and his latest Hollywood year and things could hardly get better for the star.
Hugh Jackman was quick to make sure the day didn't go to his head, roasting him ruthlessly by pretending to talk as Reynolds with a mask bearing his mask. 'Thank you, America, and feel free to urinate on my section of the sidewalk', he concluded his speech.
