The New York Premiere of 'Safe House' was held at the SVA Theater and the stars of the film rubbed shoulders with invited celebrities. Ruben Blades, Panamanian actor, singer songwriter and politician extraordinaire, attended the event, looking very happy. The star of the film, Ryan Reynolds, was the highlight of the evening, as was Denzel Washington, who attended with his wife, Pauletta Pearson.While filming, Denzel reportedly got a black eye after Ryan Reynolds accidentally hit him. Ryan has said he was embarrassed about the incident and joked that it would bring about his early retirement
